  1. They really don't care though. The endgame is Newco FC in SPL and they'll take their chance on boycotts being posturing. It's about OF and only about OF
  2. SFL want the vote to go ahead next week as Longmuir and Doncaster all singing from same songsheet now. It needs direct action from clubs and clubs need to know how supporters feel about this latest predicted fiasco. Get badgering them people
  3. If the vote is deferred today and SFL clubs DO vote on thursday then they are a disgrace. All football league clubs' fans should be lobbying their clubs to ensure the vote next week gets punted until these clowns can ACTUALLY get around to making a decision.
  4. Suspended. Trying to get SFL to reveal their hand if we say no to SFL1 SPL clubs will let them in. SFL should refuse to vote until SPL FINALLY decide
  5. As I posted yesterday SPL are desperate to know SFL's hand. For that reason vote will be postponed today IMO. SFL should then say thay are postponing vote on 12th July. As other posters have pointed out, SFL should not be voting until SPL have made their decision. Call their bluff - they cannae keep postponing votes. Away to email SFL and BRFC now to tell them vote should note go ahead on Thursday unless SPL have FINALLY made their decision.
  6. Exactly - which clubs then? Scare mongering. We're doomed, doomed I tell ya. Yeah well we'll take our chances
  7. So to recap Jim Traynor's "exclusives" 1)Last Monday we had 2Newco are in div 1 - you 14 year olds better accept that." Then SFL clubs all started saying GTF. 2)Yesterday we had "you had better let them in all YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!" - thought it was nailed on Jim? 3)Today we had shhh secret deal SPL gonna let em back in Now Regan says SFA not allowing Newco into SPL. FINGER.ON.PULSE that lad
  8. Ah totally but Doncaster probably thought he could sway opinion with his scare mongering and change minds. He'll report back saying no danger boys and some SPL "nos" may become "yes" - it's all guesswork at minute but unsure as to why SFL clubs need to meet until Newco officially told to GTF. Only then is there anything to discuss. And you are right f@@@ em - take the power back!!
  9. There is no vote today though. I believe this meeting has been arranged so SPL clubs can get a feel for opinion ahead of tomorrow. Any inkling that SFL clubs won't let them in then I think there may be some wobbles. Alloa and Brechin were right - this meeting should have been cancelled until AFTER tomorrows vote
  10. We're in the blac and posted healthy profit last year. Living within our means - some other clubs would do well to follow that lead. Also - if you believe Cockwomble's scaremogering then fair enough Either way you are right it WOULD affect us - we'd just have to cut back a bit - worth doing. Wonder how we all survived before TV deals? any club with 130years of history must be doing something right
  11. All the claims today from SFL chairmen about Newco only being accepted at SFL3 level will only heighten the likliehood of SPL chairmen bottling it tomorrow. Keep shtum, let them (SPL) vote against Newco and then SFL chairmen can do the right thing and only accept any new application at lower tier.
  12. Berwick Trust have released a statement though http://www.berwickrangers.org/sfl-newco-proposals/
  13. I do hope there would be a huge backlash but for all the talk of boycotts and fans staying away - the realist in me says it just won't happen on a scale large enought to be noticed. I'm sure when people say it on P&B they geuninely mean it and will do just that - the problem is that others won't follow - hope I'm wrong
  14. They haven't decided yet - however many vote no they will say you need at least one more.
  15. Good work by the Berwick Rangers Supporters Trust - hopefully SPL clubs do the right thing on Wednesday but.... I have my doubts. http://www.berwickrangers.org/sfl-newco-proposals/
  16. funniest thing i've seen in some time. deluded doesn't even cover it. loved the reference to marseille corruption costing cl place. oh the irony.....
  17. Although I am unsure as to how our board would go about deciding - the chairman is a fan of the club that was liquidated...nanme escapes me...oh yes Rangers so that may sway his vote. I have already banged an email off to club and Supporters trust who are major shareholders. Hopefully we do the right thing but.....
  18. Wouldn't back on our vote - chairman is a fan of the club formerly known as Rangers FC so don't suppose he's taht interested in what his club tried to do to ours in'64 unfortunately. That said I have lobbied our Trust who are major shareholders and asked them to put pressure on the board.
