I must admit, i took the piss about Cleland a wee bit but i actually find him really engaging and pleased he is in the background.

Steve Bright exists only the bright red 'Davidson Chasm' of Randomguy's Xg differential graph.

Good on Martindale not spitting the dummy after bring told the approach is being rejected but the obvious point is surely if St. Johnstone meet the value of the remainder of his contract, Livi can't deny him speaking to them, can they?
You get the sense its more personal than that for him rather than being a business decision.

Good on DM, not enough loyalty in football these days.

Nothing in the press but he's 1/1 odds on now.
At his press conference he doesn't really distance himself from the links either like he has done before.
Very interested to see how this turns out. Absolutely don't want him to go but given he's stated openly he's not on a contract with us I hope there's a compensation cause in there if he's poached.
Why would there be a clause if there is no contract? Is he just a 'volunteer' currently?

'Um no gonna sit here and talk about St Johnstone Football Club' then goes on to talk about St Johnstone Football Club.

The Davidson Chasm could be repeated.

In any event, it's great to be part of the absolute zenith of any St Mirren fan's life of the last decade. Scant consolation but it may offer some comfort to some.

Watched that MacLean interview. He does that weird pulling on the ears thing that Calum Davidson used to do. Ominous.
He's been dealt a shite hand but everyone can see he's out his depth and the players will know it. However, the vast majority of these players lack the ability to change anything even if he does get punted. The level of utter incompetence at board level doesnt help. We're completely rudderless.

Relegation and then becoming a B team for Luton Town or something.
What a life.
That's the upside tbh.

The lack of ability Costelloe has is staggering considering he seemingly thought he was too good to come up and play for the likes of St Johnstone.
One of many jobbers that should be nowhere near our team.

Davidson has reduced us to being openly mocked by the Fuddies. Unforgivable.

St Mirren are just another pishy wee club that has never won a double, little wonder the authorities haven't realised where they are playing tomorrow.

''The family had moved to Perth from Poland 11 years ago and this was to be their first experience of Saturday morning community coaching at St Johnstone.
“My husband used to play and it was our dream to put the boys through the football,” explains mother Katarzyna.
“When we came here, it was quite difficult for us without English language.
“We remember, the first time we dropped the boys off, they were so afraid. We opened the door from the car and told them to go and train.”
After some persuasion, Franio and Filip - who were born in Limanowa but lived in Laskowa - would eventually decide to wander over with boots tied tightly to join in the fun.''

season ticket holders don't attend these games but that doesn't impact financially on the club.
It would in a cup game scenario, as happened before?
That was a massive own goal by the board and looking beyond that singular event will have cost the club further.
