"hello, officer, we're on our way back from Ross County and a few of the boys want to stop at the service station for the toilet as the one on board is absolutely stinking"
You never said please.

And yet St Johnstone have still failed to catch up on the silverware count.
I'm actually jealous of the Tennents Sixes win tbh.

On another note, is the St Johnstone strip a skin tight material or are some of your squad carrying a bit weight? I assume it's tight but it looked like multiple players had a wee bit of a gut.
We're cultivating mass.

Just watched the highlights. Dundee lacking in killer instinct and displaying the sort of loser attitude that has seen them go 50 (fifty) plus years without any achievements. Floating away aimlessly until their decrepit stadium is condemned and the lights get put out.
On the other hand, the back to back cup winning champs absolutely rock solid mentally. Winners.

I've maintained James Brown is a lower league jobber since his arrival (absolute worldy aside). Pish.

Sven the DESTROYER. Pity he can't destroy some of these navy blue virgins over on the match thread.

Macca is absolutely ruthless in his pursuit of excellence.

Reminder that shots rang out from a Dallas book depository since Dundee were last relevant.

Typical foaming OF fan who has probably turned to the bottle when his team isn't getting their own way.

It was Jim Duffy (I think) on OTB at lunchtime that made a very valid point that the reason Brendan and the Board fell out the last time round was the lack of spends but equally, in the current market, very mediocre players are commanding transfer fees of many £millions. (“Couldn’t trap a bag of cement” being an easily imagined reality). Truth is, Celtic (and before you jump in, Rangers too) need to get much better at scouting.
Scottish chequebooks seem of little value these days.
You lot voting for Brexit hasn't helped the £ either.

That should be massive for confidence.

Was actually shouting at the radio there.
Everyone on the outside seems to think it was a hard luck story over a bad 6 months. IT WAS 3 YEARS OF SHITE WITH AN INEXPLICABLE HALF DOZEN GAMES.

The Green Bigots are going to utterly horse us, beyond the usual horsing and into a new horsesphere.

I remember when he scored that peach on the counter vs Rangers at McD thinking 'that's it, we've got our guy for years to come'

I can't speak to Saints position but a possible difference with us is that we actually had the bulk of the starting XI that had hit form under Kettlewell contracted and still in the building - which meant we were looking at replacing 4 key players (Johnston, Furlong, Goss and Van Veen) and at least one of those we've been able to replace from our Academy (Lennon Miller (16) for Sean Goss).
Presumably that has allowed everyone in the various departments RG mentions above to be a lot more focussed on the job at hand rather than having to overhaul an entire team/squad - our summer has really been about trimming bodies and freeing up budget in order to to recruit a handful.
Yeah, this is the crux i think. We are at the start of a rebuild journey which realistically could take 2-3 years so we're already behind the curve entirely due to short sighted planning and ineffective wasteful recruitment. We didn't (don't?) have a long term platform behind the scenes.

It definitely wasn't an accident.
He ran 80+ yards and kicked it as hard as he could into that crowd. It landed about 8 rows in front of me and I was probably 8-9 rows from the back of the stand.
He still didn't endanger anyone's life like the article seems to suggest. Although I think that's them quoting the court proceedings rather than the reports view.
His motive wasn't to hurt anyone either but he was a bit stupid. Ideally if they were going to do something in court it should have been done like 6+ months ago rather than it hanging on this long to fine him £400
A full and frank admission by the Dees that they were all wrong at the time and a 3 month custodial sentence should see everyone happy.

These people need to understand we are currently like a cracked out jakey however, floundering in a ballpit of shit and requiring street fighters to pull us out of it.

The amount of reverence from new players toward our prestige as Scotland's second most successful club of the last decade is always heart warming.
