Lang being a starter at centre back for us would only add to our relegation worries. Experience is what's needed in this league.

I don't get all the hype about Lang. He was brought in as cover for suspensions and injuries and covered well but I don't feel he's good enough to be a championship starter.

In regards to trying to hold on to Stevie, do we offer him a one year or two year contract?
If he stays and continues to be successful then we can guarantee a fee if he is headhunted for another job.

Forgot about that. They had an argument then he subbed Fleming off (correct decision) but he stormed off down the tunnel as aitken told him to wisen up (in other words), it was Andy graham that went down the tunnel after him and brought him back out.
Made him captain the following week as we beat hibs 2-1 if I remember correctly?
But, there's a difference between a shouting match and head butting someone. If it was my decision sparky would be gone unfortunately.

I think the whole Docherty/Carswell things getting blown out of proportion due to Carswells nose bleeding. If it hadn't recently been broken it probably wouldn't have bled as I don't think the contact was that hard.
Although after it did happen how would people explain that we're suppose to then take Docherty off? We would have had to use 2 subs at the same time and we didn't exactly have the personnel on the bench to bring on 2 defensive midfielders.
A similar incident happened between Fleming and someone (possibly Barr) at the start of last season and that seemed to have been handled pretty well so I assume Stevie will sort it out.0 -

I see Mitch Megginson looks set to join Alloa. I wouldn't have been against bringing him back and sticking him up front.

TBH if Barr was to leave us I wouldn't be too unhappy. Always feel one on one he'll come out second best and he usually does. Buchanan can come back in and I'd happily see Wright taking the captains arm band. Probably be a better leader too.

Aye, I reckon the 11 that finished the game today is the strongest team we have with the exception of Saunders/Taggart. Play them in a 4-4-2 and I reckon we'd get on better.

Was interested to see if the new stadium location would be that much further out of the town centre than the current one.
Turns out according to google maps it's currently 1 mile or 19 mins to walk from the high street. If we were to move then it would be 1.1 miles or 22 mins to walk from the high street.

So I can't exchange my voucher on Saturday like I was going to do? Will the club be open on Sunday because if it's not (and I doubt it will be) then I have no way of getting down to the stadium to pick up a ticket.
Surely the club shop on the main entrance side could be open? Let people in to buy tickets then make them go back out to come in the turnstiles to the game.
Edit: I have been informed that payment over the phone to have a ticket posted to me is an option.

We bought tickets on the day for Tynecastle - as dos Falkirk fans. The minimum allocation you will be given is 700 so I'm sure you'll be fine.
It appears we've only been given 316 tickets.

I'd say it's definitely one of the best in the lower leagues. For an unbiased view your better asking the QoS fans.

Heard a name tonight that is apparently one of the likely contenders for the the job. Not Duffy and not someone I would be sure on.
Would definitely increase our staunchness.
