    It's your money.

But I think the idea of funding the club through the DDs is more deep-seated than whether we're run well or not. The point is safeguarding the club and ensuring we always have a solid financial base regardless of success on the pitch and ticket sales etc.

I'd only stop if I felt we were being ripped off. I feel we're being let down just now, but not ripped off. We're arguably in a position now where losing a few more games to force change could be a good thing.

Like I said further up, I put plenty money into the club without the DD.

I just don't feel the need to buy into the direction the club is heading under her watch.

I think that's the wrong approach.

Just because we have the wrong guy in the dugout at the moment doesn't mean the fans funding the club is wrong. We're either committed to that model or we are not.

Taking money out of the club is not the answer.

I just don't believe in the direction the club is going.

I don't believe in a chairwoman who doesn't think results on the park matter.

I may start my DD up again once she has left and we have a board who puts winning football matches at the top of its priority list.

Hearts seem pretty well run, unless the club are withholding that money from investing in the football operation why would you withdraw it?

A poor performing team on the pitch lies is the managers responsibility if the club are allocating the correct resources to him relative to your income.

By buying a season ticket every year, usually getting a shirt for playing football and going to 75% of away games, I put enough money into the club.

I don't want to top that up with a monthly direct debit, when I don't believe in the direction the football club is going.

Supporting a non-Old Firm team (as in even bothering to buy your ticket and turn up) requires a kind of optimism that you couldn't understand. Sometimes we get a surprise and it's glorious. The ticket is an investment in that happening once every now and then and not wanting to miss out.

By 3-0 down there's just no point. Go and enjoy your day with your mates. It's been me loads of times. No regrets about bailing at 3-0 and heading to the pub for a fun day with my pals instead of sitting watching a pointless 30 or 40 minutes of football.

A wasted post on that idiot.

Sat on P&B during a game his "team" is at home.

Levein is not the answer but what's Budge gonna do? Until fans starting making their feelings known at games or not attending games with us languishing in the bottom six, she won't sack him.

As things stand, we've played fairly well today despite our injury list. As I type, we've conceded again and by the sounds of it due to another mistake by Damour who probably isn't 100% match fit. Buck stops with Levein, again, but he won't be walking after another defeat against the champions.

    4 league wins in 2019.

She needs to bring in a football manager who can win football matches. But she won't, because that arsehole is bulletproof. Despite us now being bottom of the league.

She's not playing in defence or choosing the team.

New goalie but same problems with Berra and his keeper. He's our captain and has a wealth of experience - he should call the shots. I don't like saying this but he's  a liability now.

No, but she's claiming the man picking the players, the formations and the tactics is doing a good job.

    Which is alienating the fans.

I agree. Although we have a more settled squad, I still think we'll bring three or four players in during the summer due to some leaving. Hopefully that's mainly fringe players so the overall quality of the squad continues to increase.

So much depends on Naismith staying, though. He is without doubt our most talismanic figure since Rudi.

Keeping Djoum is close to becoming as important as keeping Naismith imo.

Hearts are very nicely placed at the moment.

For all that the last couple of months have been a catastrophe, we're only 6 points off the top of the league at the winter break, which I think we'd all have bitten your hand off for at the start of the season. We've got players coming back to fitness, have signed a new striker, and we have five of our first seven league games after the break at home.

People seem to have written us off this season, but I think that's premature.

I still think there’s some business to be done. Apart from the Saughnessy boy from Leeds, that is. Suspect that Leveins claim that we’re not looking at doing much business was a ruse.

  9. After watching the performance of Sean Clare last night, I think he has the potential to be one of the worst players I have ever seen play for Hearts.  It's incredible that someone gave this diddy a shree year deal.   Hopefully I'm proved wrong but I can't see it.
Anyone it got me thinking about some of the other shite I have witnessed over the years.
First up has to be Hans Eskilsson who appeared in the mid nineties for a handful of appearances, he looked like a viking and played like he had a helmet wedged over his eyes, one impressive feat was to miss an open goal from 3 yards in a Derby, yup he was pish.
Secondly is Mirsad Beslija the record signing at £850k which was clearly part of some money laundering scam.  Played sporadically in his stay, was utterly shite and gave a modicum of revenge to the Bosnian pensioners that Vlad shafted,
Thirdly is Austin McCann one of the worst full backs in existence, he had the mobility of a sherman tank and pretty much hit the first man with every cross he ever made.  In his defence though he did score a cracker of a goal to win a game against Celtic.  Was going to pick that Nigerian chap but can't mind his name.
Fourthly has to be another striker, it could have been Calum Elliott, Paul McCallum, John Sutton or many others but take a bow Michael Ngoo,  this imposter came from Liverpool where he must have been washing the cars.  Missed a couple of sitters in a league cup final and now plying his trade in Albania.
Finally the 4000 Lithuanians that Vlad brought to the club, with a few notable exceptions they were utterly shite.

So what diddies have you seen play for your club over the years?

This post makes me think you’ve only been to about 4 Hearts games in your life.

Met an absolute arsehole of a guy yesterday who scoffed at the fact we were at the Hibs Saints game. He was a Liverpool fan who had been living in Edinburgh for 18 years and had never been to see either Hearts or Hibs because he said “it’s shit.” Imagine living in a city for 18 years and never going to one of the local games because it’s not good enough for you. I know if I moved to England I’d definitely go along to see the local team play even though I’m not particularly that interested in English football. Enjoy watching your team on the tv mate and your once a season trip to Anfield emoji23.png

For the sake of the wallets and personal belongings of the locals, I'm glad to hear he's been nowhere near either team.
