Into season 2021/22 and I was handed a tough Euro Cup group stage draw against Eintracht Frankfurt, PSV Eindhoven and Malmo. Not only did I get through the group, but I topped it after remaining unbeaten in my six group games. Including this beauty.

Big fan of Drew Brees making that opening drive look so easy when Neil Reynolds, etc made a big deal of his height with those tennis rackets.

Starting to get a bit fed up of the sheer number of sendings off in this game. Even when I've set the instructions to "Stay On Feet", I'll end up with around 10 red cards a season from two footed lunges about 25 minutes into the game. Even from players like Meshino, who I doubt has ever tackled anycunt in his life.

It just feels like the most basic Pokemon game I've ever played. Train your Pokemon, become champion and then go home. Boring.

Pokemon Sword, and I don't know if it's just me, feels so devoid of story. Yeah, you've got the old "try to become champion" and all that, but it feels like it lacks a bit more character.
