RANGERS has written to the SPFL outlining its position following today’s Ross County Scottish Premiership fixture.
The negligence and unprofessionalism demonstrated by Ross County Football Club, where they fielded a player called “Leak”, had a damaging effect on our players and staff who are triggered by any mention of anything related to water.

Statement blaming Dundee’s pitch incoming?

Aye. One wee bit that was missing was the Dundee crowd reaction when Motherwell scored (assuming there was some sort of reaction?).
Aye, it was your classic “staggered celebration as the news filtered through”.

McDiarmid is apparently plan B if Dens fails a Tuesday pitch inspection.
What if it passes the Tuesday inspection but it rains on Wednesday?

Credit is due that they started with Motherwell v Hibs, then segued straight into Aberdeen v Dundee before any manager interviews or analysis.
If things had been a bit more topsy-turvy during the afternoon, I wonder if they would have done a good old fashioned intercut.

I suppose there's something of an irony in the Aberdeen "End VAR" banner perfectly illustrating how different angles can tell a different story in terms of relative positioning of objects.

Where’s your fixture chaos and delayed split now, Tom?

Holy shit.
We dominated the second half and probably deserved to win, but it doesn’t matter now. Hibs Hibsing it.
Although it would have been the Dundee way to concede as soon as Motherwell scored. Glad the script went in the bin in the end

Willie Miller also thinks the rules should stipulate a minimum amount clubs should have to spend on their pitch

All this greeting about Dundees pitch. Be hilarious if they beat sevco.
If we do the job today (big if), I’d like someone to go back and ask Tom English where this so-called chaos is.
I’m also not sure why nobody has pointed out that it’s never been a requirement for all MD33 games to kick off at the same time, despite Hibs’ complaints.

Sorry, I see Italy and Mexico already use it, and Spain will be joining them this summer, leaving just the 50+ leagues including the Bundesliga as being "bargain basement".
I never said that manual offside was “bargain basement”.
My point was that other leagues are now adopting the semi-automated offside technology, in the same week we had our VAR officials needing to eyeball a decision because we only had one suitable camera angle, but its calibration failed.
That wouldn’t have happened if we had a better VAR setup with more cameras.

England will the only country using this incredibly expensive technology in their domestic league for now.
No they won’t.

Worth mentioning that the A92 is closed between Charlestown and Bridge of Dee, so good chance of tailbacks.
AWPR from Stonehaven to Kingsford and cutting across might be an alternative option?

Ah, you might not be wrong there. Getting mixed up in the mists of time. Maybe it isn't in the stars that you complete the hat-trick tomorrow then !
Yeah, here it is. 15th May 2004.

That was the first time I visited Pittodrie - and it was our last win there as well, I believe.

If there’s no public money, would they go to the effort and expense of converting Hampden again?
I can see them doing most events in Glasgow, but send the athletics to London (depending on West Ham’s needs) or Birmingham.

Wasn’t the 2004 game the final day of the season, rather than the final pre-split round?
We were both bottom 6 that season, but I think our win allowed us to finish 7th.
