  1. Although this doesn't affect my club yet (it will if it's not resolved in a month's time), I'm actually quite angry about all this. Just fucking kick Livi out of the league and let them waste their money in the law courts. The cheating b*****ds have got away with it for far too long now and if reports are to be believed, they're dictating to the SFL what should and shouldn't happen tomorrow.
  2. That implies things aren't already at that level... The SFL need to make a concrete statement NOW about the fixtures. Even if it's just to reaffirm the one from this morning.
  3. According to LiviLions, Fraser Wishart was in on this and the SFL have agreed to the game being postponed because players haven't been paid This is getting beyond ridiculous now... EDIT: here's the post: That last bit is what's making me suspicious; as far as the SFL are concerned, Livi are in Division 3 and are appealing to get back out again
  4. Well, I suppose that depends on whether or not you believe George Bush...
  5. Thought I'd raise this gem from the very first page BORED.COM Welcome angelo I am happy with what u have done so far Forza Livi And that's only on the first page
  6. A quick skim through reveals nothing specific, although it could be caught by something else. EDIT: as far as I can see, it's only scratching a game in the Scottish Cup (or the "Challenge Cup" as they like to call it) that is a breach of the Articles of Association.
  7. If this happens, then the slow-motion car crash will have sped up somewhat.
  8. Jumping back through the thread... I think Livi have acknowledged they broke the rules and so deserve some form of punishment. With that in mind, the status quo is not maintained whilst an appeal against the sentence is forthcoming. Or do those people on LiviLions think that criminals who appeal against their sentence are released in order to do so (since being free is the status quo, after all).
  9. Here's an interesting scenario: Livingston appeal and refuse to play any Third Division games, and are deducted 15 points for each offence. Let's say they've missed 3 games at the point their appeal is heard, and it's somehow successful. What happens to the -45 points? Do they move with Livi to the First Division? Or are they wiped out because, in the end, it turned out that they weren't supposed to play those games anyway?
  10. And would also, I believe, destroy any hopes we had of reaching the World Cup. On the plus side, it will save us the humiliation of a trip to Norway next week...
  11. How can the radio hear a "rumour" of a press conference? They've either been told there is one, or they haven't...
  12. You could have warned us there was a picture of Jim Leishman AND Davie Hay wearing shorts...
  13. The reason for you not starting with a home game was explained time and time again. Because it would mean you would be starting the season with a home game.
  14. I think Ayr and Raith fans will be most delighted by this. It means they have a better chance of survival, because we'll effectively have a 2nd Division team in the 1st. Not to say Airdrie Utd won't be a threat, but I think they will struggle.
  15. Actually, what will happen with an appeal? Only the courts can stop the season from starting...and as I've already pointed out, Livi would fail in that respect.
  16. Ban those as well. We all know Livi's track record when it comes to amateurs...
  17. The SFL have already alienated themselves from the supporters, so such a move could cause widespread anarchy (in a footballing sense). The only question is: what can we actually do that will make them sit up and take notice?
  18. But the SFL could attach conditions that say the bond must be lodged by Livingston Football Club and any money released back from it goes to the same place. EDIT: I suppose the difficulty there would be getting the money into the club in the first place without the creditors getting a bit irate.
  19. By the way, if Livi want to appeal in the law courts, any hearing would take place tomorrow or Friday and be thrown out immediately, because: 1) Livi agreed to be bound by the rules of the SFL when they accepted membership 2) The rules are not illegal
