Wow.  There genuinely are fans who still think that wasn’t a red card.

I was more annoyed at the time, when the ref played on, then collum intervened. People moan that the 4th official never gets involved, then one of the rare times he does, its against your own team. The fact it was collum just adds to the seethe. I actually think Stewart shat out the challenge, and still got caught.

Year to the day since we were given a wake-up call by Dunfermline in the LC. OK, we made a game of it in the end, but they ripped us apart in that first half. I was very surprised they didn't go on to have a better season than they did.

When you look at that line-up, and that six/seven of them (Baird, Mack, Erhahon, McGinn, Mullen, Cooke, and arguably Andreu never became a guaranteed starter) struggled for game time last season and/or were bombed out altogether, I wonder if Jim made his mind up about many of them that day.

We were rotten that day. Remember thinking I could be in the pub in 10 mins, then we scored 2 quick goals, which made me stay to the end. Never looked like scoring a third and pars looked decent that day.

Very late but PP have 5 quid free bet on the 1.50. No deposit or anything required

They have a free fiver on the Man City game tonight as well.

I had a good run. Got to design four kits. JD Sports offered a completely bespoke kit design service. Obviously, winning the cup wearing that home shirt was amazing, but I was told by a few players that they really loved two of the away kits I designed - the all black one with the red diagonal stripe, and the fluorescent yellow with black shorts one. The players I spoke to said they loved that one in floodlit games as it really stood out in night games. I was lucky to get the chance, and relieved not to fcuk it up. 🙂

That should the basic design for the away kit every season.

The shoot out at the farmhouse in the middle of nowhere in episode 5 is worth watching even if you don't watch any others.

Have just got to that episode, and to be honest, thought it was pretty shit.

He did end up at Celtic at one point as he seemingly claimed if he hadn't chosen to leave it would have been him, not David Marshall, who came on against Barcelona. I seem to remember he ended up at Queen of the South and Ricky Gillies scored a Ronaldinho-esque fluke free-kick against him.

Back in the day, his dad came on MSN Messenger to have a go at me for slagging his son off on the forums. Fair enough - except he then claimed if the club had listened to him we'd have been able to get guys like Carlton Cole and Leon Knight on loan 🤣

He did, I remember seeing him when I was covering St Cuthbert Wanderers against Pollok in one of the first games for the juniors in the Scottish Cup. Pollok cruised it apart from a couple of utter Robertson calamities that took me back to early 1990s Love Street.

Best goalie for us would be penalty king Campbell Money or Hladky, although the campaign the Saints fans rigged to get Ludo named goalie of the year in 2000 was amusing. Samson gets a mention for winning two trophies.

Worst would be Scrimgour. At least we only had to watch guys like Cornell and Ridgers for relatively short periods of time. Tony Fitzpatrick subjected us to half a season of Scrimgour (a sackable offence in itself) and we had more in the Millennium Champions season when Ludo got injured. What really seals it is the season after when Scrimgour actually got subbed for being shite, then left the game early in a huff.

Lee Sharp scored a corner for Arthurlie at Newlandsfield, and Robertson pretty much lost the plot in that game after that.

Best for me would be Money or Hladky, I really don't get the love in Saints fans have for Samson.

Struggling to know whether to respond with a gif of Robbie Nielson punching the air when you took us to penalties, or of Hladky saving the final pen, or Ian Ferguson's shot hitting the back of the net, or the classic 'Willo Flood pushes the camera'.

Which would you prefer and I'll get it sorted?

A picture of the keepers water bottle, with the expert pen advice please.

From what little I have heard, none of it from my own club reps.

Basically, the WR are pinning everything on the Maxwell "done deal" email as being legally binding. The proposal is for the West Premiership to slot in at Tier 6, and be run by the LL, and allow any existing tier 6 sides (e.g. Threave/Bonnyton) wishing to join to slot in to that division. The West Region would still run tiers 7-9 below that. The obvious question is, if they thought it was legally binding, why wait almost 2 years?

Gordon Ronney apparently at one point suggested that clubs should turn up on the steps of Hampden on Thursday in a show of solidarity and demand access to the pyramid. He wants all the clubs to stick together and to starve the new league of members, which (in his opinion) would force the LL to accept the Juniors plan instead.

Really hope a lot of clubs who were undecided, clicked at that point.

Remember a few seasons ago when the media were fawning over St Mirren’s “sexy football?” Any time I witnessed it it was comprised of passing the ball back and forward in their own half amongst the defence, including the keeper. There’s retaining possession and looking good, then there’s keeping the ball but doing nothing much with it. Great possession stats though.
I think we’ve seen enough lack of creativity and chances from good forward play to bin this particular “style.”

Were they really ? Must have missed that.

The issue I've got there is that that confounds the theory that 'he's learning on the job'.

I'd be inclined to give the guy another year even if we go down - and I was saying the same about Kearney, because we've got to stop this one manager per year cycle.

But it's tactics and subs that will bemuse fans and turn them against a manager, especially when we're failing to lay a glove on teams in game after game.

As has been mentioned, he took off a forward and put on Andreu. Took off Wallace, who was later given MOM, and who puts a decent ball in.

Most bizarrely of all, he left McGrath on for the full game. I don't know if he's playing out of position, but was totally invisible the whole game. Is it because he's one of his signings, he has to play ? Was expecting decent things after the Dundalk fans meltdown that he was too good for shitey St.Mirren, but unless he improves, they can have him back.

Had I known about this I might have gone along but as usual with Arthurlie it seems that there is a distinct lack of information made available to those outwith the 'inner circle".

Their PR is an absolute joke

It certainly is, although some people seem to have heard of the night.

Actually, I had been toying with the idea of stopping my payments, mainly because money is bloody tight at the moment. If Kibble gets voted through I'll continue.

I've been paying since the start, but think I've only actually voted once in that time.

Sounds a good idea, although I suspect the usual voices of darkness will be spouting their shite on BAWA.

You might not like betting on your own team (I certainly don't), but 15/8 for Hamilton here seems like a staggeringly good bet to me.

You might not like betting against your own team either, but 9/5 against a team without an away point is crazy.

Would imagine the well fans lumped on the 7/5 available midweek.

Another very good episode last night.

    Brian Cox is superb.

Brian Cox is brilliant. All the children are instantly dislikeable, be good to see Rhea f**k them over.

Wish Kendall would stop stuttering !
