Kaz out, Smurph and SLJ in. Ten.

Hopefully kaz and Smurph can fill the void.

I'm in and Fraz is out. It's booked for next week and we get £20 off as well.
I also feel Jamie had an unfair advantage in the snow given that he's from the arctic north.
My legs hurt and I have blisters and I'm still not warmed up. Other than that I enjoyed it.
See above.

Breaking my slow cooker VL here as well using Reina's cider pork recipe from page 1. Will be ready when I get up at half 6 for work so will take it off the heat then and give it a wee taste.
Also bought ingredients for the pulled pork and stovies - possibly do a joint of beef at the weekend as well!

I'm just going to drive around Glasgow until I eventually find it, I've got a rough idea. So I'm in.
Do you have a satnav? The address is Kennedy St, G4 0PQ. Have a quick Google of the post code if you're still unsure - it's a piece of piss to get to.
Welcome aboard anyway, we'll be in the changing rooms on the right when you come in and Shakey will have an Everton top on whilst loudly swearing at and berating the rest of us.

I got a text from powerleague offering me £20 off a pitch if I book before the 16th so on Monday I'll try and book for next week to ensure maximum cheapness.

You can count me in by the way, and fraser will be available as well.

I'm all for the dirty side if the game (when I played 11 aside I was either a RB or a defensively minded CM breaking up play any way possible) but leaving your foot in late with tackles at a kick about game of fives! Unbelievable Jeff!
^^^hasn't met shakehands tom IMO.

They're blue actually.
Nah I agree with Shakey they were definitely yellow
I apologise for nothing as I'm a stubborn, cynical arsehole. Don't know why I shoved dave's shoulder mind, he wasn't even doing anything I'll behave better next week. The game was cracking though, end to end, lots of neat passing moves and I felt I had one of my better games for a wee change. Needed more female netball players though.
And everyone should just take a leaf out of my book by being too quick for Shakey to decapitate

Where I dropped you off? Aye that's fine.

I like those teams, 7:40 again tonight aye Dave?
Yep.
0 -
In for next week probably.
Possible teams for tonight:
dave 258
Fraz
Kaz
Kyle
Smurph
Stu
Shakey
L4L
Fudge
David W
Thoughts? Due to a very painful right baw (Kaz hit me a belter in the stones when playing 7s last night) and the fact I'm having pakora with poppadoms and spiced onions for lunch, I am declassifying myself from 'runner' to 'non-runner' tonight.

This would seem to have been the final list of participants for the first ever GA5's, as posted by our very own, 'dave258':-
dave258 - still here
dave258's mate Dave - Australia
Kylesons - deceased/gay/unknown
Kylesons' cousin - unknown
Shakey - still here
Jambo Stu - still here
Garrowhill Clyde - glue factory
David W - still here
Kulli - Norway
Gav - available for occasional cameo appearances
And going by some of the posts after that game, it would seem that David W mumped and moaned about the physicality of the game back then too.
"Where are they now's" now added. I'm certainly fitter now but I doubt my playing style has changed much

Truly momentous news as we approach the 5th anniversary of the inaugural GA5s. Graft indeed.

Am I right in thinking that we are only waiting on Smurph confirming?

My mate Fraser is in - old school members of GA5s and frequenters of various city centre drinking dens will know him as 'big Fraz'.
One required.

Also I'm in.

Cheers mate! i did worry when i papped the ball off Dave's shoulder and into the net in the first couple of minutes, but I came onto a game after that! Don't know what came over me to be honest! I'm not fit enough, but that was a good start.
Agree that you played well mate, kept it simple and slotted a few away. The fitness will build up pretty quickly as well if you keep playing.
Don't slag my wonder goal though ya wee dick!

If he targets wee Sibby, I will target him. We'll go for 50/50 and the irreststable force paradox will unfold.
When the unstoppable force meets the immovable object. Glorious.

I thought I hadn't been nominated due to concerns I would use the funds to further my uranium enrichment progr................I've said too much.
Imagine putting that on your Wonga loan application.

Yeah that's fine...I should definitely not be trusted to count it.
You're from Paisley mate, that much is a given

Pork was meh. The meat was great but sauce wasn't up to much. Pulled pork going on tomorrow morning and will be ready for dinner time.
