Hope MacIver’s injury isn’t too bad, he’s been crucial for us up top and a work horse. Shanley should be an able deputy upfront. I can see why McGlynn signed him as cover, since it wouldn’t disrupt our style of play using a like for liked  striker. Shanley looks physically bigger too and looks useful for sure.

Ross never went up the tunnel when we went off and sat in the dugout so can’t imagine it was too bad but here’s hoping it’s just a knock.

Slimming world time of year again

Throw away all the good food and replace with shite and spices we are never going to eat (christ ,throw it straight into the bucket and cut out the middle man)

Would you like cumin and tarragon on the chicken .... Naw fkn gravy

Slimming world is one of the worst things to happen to this country, labelling foods as good and bad is a terrible mindset to get people in. Calorie deficit is all that is needed if someone wants to lose weight, that and patience.

Normally the stands are cleaned between games but with the two days after the match being Hogmanay and NYD, I'd guess the cleaners had something better to do those days.

More a reflection on those leaving the rubbish than the club.

I'm getting hernia surgery this week.  I've had it for several years, it's given me no problems but recommendation is to get it fixed sooner rather than later to avoid any complications down the line.

I've never had an operation before - any P&Bers got any advice etc.  I'm getting it in a private hospital, the NHS punted me over to them to help clear the backlog (bed blocking b*****d etc).

I had open surgery on an inguial hernia in 2021  on the NHS and other then the wound becoming slightly infected my recovery was about 3 weeks before I could Get back in the gym.

Thank you to the players and management for a great hour and a half this afternoon at the Junior Bairns Training Day. The kids all seemed to have a great time meeting their heroes who were all brilliant with the kids.

We really do have a fantastic club right now.

On the downside however was the state of the KM7 stand with food waste, empty wrappers and cups from saturday's match. I get it's not your house but is it too much to have some pride in the stadium and put your rubbish in a bin?

Was there also and couldn’t believe the level of rubbish around the KM7. The players are a class act and great with all the kids, a credit to the club much like the management team.

My issue with Morrison isn't his talent, I think it's abundantly obvious he's a talented player who possesses that bit of magic in tight games. My issue is that some games just seem to completely pass him by.

If we had a winger who was hits the highs Morrison can hit week in week out he quite simply wouldn’t be playing league 1 football.

Looks like he can be creative, but maybe depends on system etc.?

Seems like they played 2 up front more last season and 1 up top more this season, so maybe struggles to create for others when they aren't close?

How are we on crosses? I heard the guys on the terrace podcast say we were top by a big distance for crosses into the box and compared to last season when we were 6/7th in the league.

Do you like Jordan Allan over in the FK? Personally, I don't think Ryan Shanley is much of an upgrade on Jordan.

He’s not really had a chance and doesn’t suit the system we primarily use of 2 wide men and a lone striker. He missed out last season as he was cup tied and we had no reserve team so he wasn’t getting many minutes. Wouldn’t be against keeping him as an option but can see a loan happening as he can’t be happy with the minutes he gets. He’ll never replace Maciver up top for us imo.

BB said lawal was injured. But tbh I also think he’s at real risk of leaving in January to make room for someone new. I’ve always liked the look of Reece Mcleaer. Physical box to box central midfielder. Not getting a game for tranmere so wouldn’t mind getting him on loan. Would provide good competition/cover for Hendo and Spencer.

Robbie Mahon putting in some decent numbers at Edinburgh may be worth a punt given their circumstances.
