Ray doesn't actually say its a defender but 'part of the teams defensive unit', could be the defensive midfielder we are still needingI assume he was referring to Toshney. I would be surprised if we signed another defender now.

Livi have sent a letter in 'owning up' to these payments and asking for an investigation. Looks to me like its more to do with the ex chairman suing the club they are airing the dirty washing when he was in charge to discredit himi
However the current livi board have played a sneaky one, probably expecting a signing embargo they didnt announce this until they have already got this years squad signed up so it wont really affect them just now!

I see someone named Billy Vidler has apparently signed for East Stirling after leaving us. I've never heard of him.

f**k knows where the goals are going to come from even if he does! In four friendlies, only Christian Nade scored in open play. I'm not overly worried about it, but it is a slight concern.
Also, I may have mentioned this before, but Craig Barr choosing number 55?

Yes you do appear to have an issue with him having the no 55 ;-) . Probably simple, he wanted the no 5 with him being a centerhalf, the no 5 had gone so he takes second best and has two number fives hence 55

I think its a bit unfair judging McKeown on these friendlies as in all three we had very little of the ball and on the back foot most of the time against three good teams. Wait until we are playing teams at our own level where we will have more of the ball and be attacking more, then we will see if he will ovelap much. Thomson has hardly crossed the half way either in the three games, nobody has moaned about him.

Not seen much of him, played the whole game against Edinburgh City on Wednesday night there, not the quickest by the looks of it (either that, or their number 9, Alum was a total speedster)
Just a youngster, 18 or so, not ready for our first team yet but getting a few first team games with you boys should bring him on. Good first touch but not the quickest hope he serves you well though!

Actually a few. He has played in the SPL with Dundee and Killie. So sit down you tool and tell me about how good he is.
Eta - Something like 5 goals in 56 is his current goal scoring record since 2011. We are crying out for an out and out striker who will bag 15+ goals. This is a poor signing.

Same as the year long loan deal that Booth was on last year!
All it means is that Conroy will get paid his full wages as per is contract, part by Raith and topped up by Dundee. Raith get a player they otherwise maybe could not afford his current wage, Dundee free up the part wage that Raith will pay and Conroy keeps his high wage for another season and gets a move to a club where he will play everyweek - win win win
