Seen the same guy on the Quarry Road between Kirkcaldy / Dalgety Bay at around quarter to 9 this morning.
It's the head of youth guy I think, sure there was something on the site about him getting a car a few weeks ago.

Jesus Baird deal not confirmed maybe he's changed his mind and signed for fifes best team (dumfermline) :-(
he is still under contract with Airdrie until end of month. Expect it to be announced at the end of this week though.

If its an ex-rovers player then maybe Gareth Wardlaw, scored 19goals this season & is out of contract! Dont think his face fitted in with J.M but could be hard to overlook the chance to get a tall in-form stricker for little money. No point if he plays him on the wing tho!

Was there an Ian Thompson that played for the Rovers in the early 70's? Maybe a defender?
Work argument.
There was a Dave Thomson who played sweeper for a few years who if I recall was related to the then manager Andy Mathews, son in law or something. He is now in the Police.
We also had an Ian Thomson who played a while after that who was a midfielder, late 80's I would guess

So we get beat by a team in our own league in the first game, you struggled to beat a team in the bottom league, and have conceded bucket loads of goals all pre season, get your own defence in order before you offer advice to us.
