  1. What is red pudding? It's basically a sausage that doesn't legally qualify for being called a 'sausage', enjoy!
  2. He was talking about Calderwood. It's also worth pointing out I should pay more attention.
  3. However, it's also worth pointing out our last 3 competitive results.
  4. One if the bairns has pulled the old toilet roll plug, taps on and bugger off in the bathroom. It's now been raining in the kitchen. Harumph. Sent from my LT26i using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  5. That 114, 500 was from the donations target which was only 100, 000 and made up of donations between 100 and 4999 pounds. Their was a seperate unpublished target of 400,000 from larger 'patron' investment. We are lead to believe this has been achieved. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  6. Can buy my season ticket now! Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  7. Yip, he's climbing in his car to go looking for toddlers to skittle by way of celebration. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  8. Jim Jefferies response (audio) now added to the bottom of that link. Main point being sensible budgetting. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  9. Quite a wildly uneducated guess. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  10. Not working with the club again could be counter productive with the club, as a major local entity being able to put a lot of work the way of local businesses. I would imagine most will now insist on large deposits before carrying out any work at the very least though. Credit will certainly be extremely limited and any business relationships and good faith will have to built over a very long time. As Bryan Jackson has said, it's basically a vote between a clean slate or a f**k you (paraphrase). Either way, the creditors are getting hee haw. Do the club deserve a clean slate? Well, no, not really, but does Dunfermline deserve a football club? Here's hoping that 75% think so. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  11. Come DA Baracus, they're nice guys really. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  12. Indeed. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  13. I'd expect provisional negotiations to have taken place reliant on the CVA going through, similar to the sponsorship deal with purvis. A lot of work going on behind the scenes, so I'd imagine a flurry of announcements when/if the CVA is granted. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  14. That's what soft loans are for.Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  15. First of me hearing about this proposed upgrade at new Bayview, would be excellent if it was in place for this game and would certainly make the decision make sense. With regards the CVA, I'm very fingers in ears about it just now. Just planning and looking ahead to the season as normal. Only exception is putting off gettin my seadon ticket until it's through. 16. Got the new top today as well, very impressed with quality compared to last year. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  17. Sounds like a bitter chap. on another note, apparently East Fife are insisting on pay at the gate for the season opener. In some respects, a positive move, but could get a bit silly around 3 o'clock as the steamboats arive. I'd be surprised if a few aren't locked out, I'm also surprised that the police are happy with the arrangement. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  18. Agree re set pieces, that's one area where being so young will be a massive problem. A lot of work needs to go in there and they'll need to learn fast. That 2nd goal yesterday needs to be a one off, very naive and easily avoidable. On corners, we need to wisen up to block off runs and someone needs to attack the ball. 19. Thought he could've been decent if he didn't have the first touch of a rapist. He did though, resulting in him running out of pitch too frequently to be any danger. Rory loy was almost exactly the same player as steven McDougal. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  20. Dive and swim under them going down the deep end then hog the side of the pool and watch them flounder. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  21. That's the point, it's all about saying the right thing with the optimism of a new season, daring to dream and have a bit of a 'why not?'attitude. The irritating thing in the top league is that even daring to dream, and now even with even only one team to chase down, it's still seen as completely unimaginable to press on. Now a team in second (previously third) believe's they've hit the very pinnacle of what's possible. Before a ball is kicked, that's a horrendous attitude to have. 22. Have read a few interview's with the players now, and how refreshing is it to be in a league with one of the old firm without the players conceding that finishing behind them is the best possible outcome? The only hope is that it is more determination that cockyness over the rest of the league, I do expect the players to learn a few harsh lessons over the season.
