    I've rarely seen either do anything in a match. I get the sarcasm though!

    I still think Rankin does a lot of chasing down in midfield that we'd miss if he wasn't there. He will bring experience onto the pitch. As for no legs, he's an older player who should be able to manage his game to suit.

    Just to clarify. The point I was agreeing with was the has he got a role at the club.

    Tend to agree with EP on this. It all went tits up after him and Fergie fell out in Nov and promises not delivered. No role at the club currently so why is he allowed to be involved in something as crucial as this?
