  1. Molvdova are quite good, looking forward to this
  2. belgium doing a bad 80's cover
  3. not as good as her last effort
  4. Same, thought it was excellent in the video, but not that great live, think the uk might be the same
  5. go_a from 2 years ago, they were class
  6. Its starts strong with Austria, then its completely dull until half way with a decent run of Italy, Estonia and Finland then the rest of Australia, Moldova, Germany and Croatia spread out nicely in the 2nd half along with the UK
  7. Glasgow have confimred the players leaving this year https://glasgowwarriors.org/glasgow-warriors-confirm-2022-23-leavers/?fbclid=IwAR0CuHzFGn_o_1cfvoglwcrbj9eIlvbn35ag1iVeCbwRBy3AyUbEeNggCKQ Sam Johnson is the obvious shock on the list, however given we still have Jones, Tuipolotu and McDowall we are Scotland squad heavy so probably need to free up some space for youngsters / non SQ to take up hte slack during WC and 6N's. I would still have him at inside centre above anyone else we currently have, hopefully he is still in the NH and available for Scotland. Forbes and Bergham are also both a loss as both are solid 1st team starting material. Bergham is still in and around hte Scotland set up so hopefully he gets a decent gig for next year. I never thought Beann was reqular starting material and squad player at best, so not overly worried about losing him. I thougth Neild looked good in the few games he had, but was only ever a short term deal and wont be suprised if he gets picked up by a prem team for next year.
  8. Serbia, Portugal and Czechia getting through is shocking, Malta and Latvia missing out is gutting
  9. Probably agree, but most dissapointed in Latvia and Croatia as didnt come across as well on stage as the videos
  10. Thought Malta and Moldova were better
  11. I would tend to agree, but you can also frame it we won 3 and only lost to the top 2 ranked teams in the world. I can see him walking at some point also, or also being pushed out if someone else suddenly shows an interest
  12. I'd go the other way, no jury means the better songs will get through
  13. Suprised and not suprised at the same time. We had probably one of our best seasons in recent years so is good that we are going to have a bit of continuity but you are left wondering if someone else would get more out of this squad.
  14. Suprised Boateng is not on the list as he has looked excellent, but Akinyemi has carried Ayr all season
  15. Had first listen to the songs over the weekend, it seems a pretty high standard. Apart from last year's effort I think this is the best song we've put in for a while, but unfortunately probably not even top 10 material My favourites so far are Malta, Austria, Latvia and Finland in no particular order, with honourable mentions to Australia, Germany, Estonia, Netherlands, Italy and Moldova. However as the songs can change between what's released now and the actual performance I will reserve the right to change my mind on my favourites until the semi's have been on.
  16. Scarlets try is forward by a good meter, although would have been a penalty / card probably if not scored
  17. So the URC play offs are as follows Glasgow v Munster Leinster v Sharks Stormers v Bulls Ulster v Connacht So looking like Glasgow will finish their season with a loss in Dublin for the 2nd year running We probably have a chance of winning there is we have the full squad fit, and Leinster are still reeling from there drubbing last weekend, and Toulouse & the Sharks take out a few. We do seem to be struggling for numbers Big end to the season for Glasgow, a win against Scarlets this weekend to set up a final vs Benneton or Toulon, this is probably our best season since we lost Finn, Johnny and Hoggy. Franco Smith has done a great job turning this team around, giving us a solid forward pack, and keeping the backs playing exciting rugby. Also a big shout out to Tom Jordan who has grown thought the season and having started nearly every game has put in a shift at 10. At the start of the season I expected Thompson and Miotti to be battling it out for the 10 jersey with Weir and Jordan (who I had no idea about at the start of the year) as back ups, however with Thompson missing nearly the whole year through injury and Miotti hardly featuring Jordan has kept things ticking over, will be interesting to see how things pan out next season. Also noted Walter Fifita has left by mutual consent, think he only played twice, and for a margue signing probably one of the biggest dissapointments.
  18. Leinster getting schooled in SA is extremely enjoyable Edit to add - Although just noticed this puts the Bulls up to 5th, so assume if it stays like this we play them in the quarters, hopefully Munster or Connaught win tonight to go above them in the table
  19. After some of the games this season that was better last night. We actually tried to pass the ball about for large parts rather than the constant hoof, but just lacked a cutting edge up front. We were the better team first half and if we had knicked a goal we would have won, but didnt, and thought 2nd half was pretty even so draw a fair result. Unless Mullin is back play offs are pretty pointless, although I can see us havign a chance against both Partick and QP - neither are any great shakes, ICT though.... Still hoping Hamilton can scud Partick today to put us back to 4th. I cant see us going up in the playoffs but a few extra games will help the coffers and being in the playoffs may help boost our chances in the transfer market over the summer
  20. I think Disney+ now have the Netflix series of Daredevil, Punisher, Jessica Jones (I watched on Netflix but sure I saw them on Disney+ but could be wrong) so would seem odd to change what worked so well
  21. Only managed 13 games this season. Always wondered how this season would have went if we had both Adeloye and Akinyimi up front
