  1. mon the riblon. i think the gc group is going to be a let down.
  2. kirby has to be the worst commentator ever. the leaders are 6 minutes ahead of the schleck group but he think they'll come together on the descent.
  3. after watching froome murdering the bike for weeks it's good to see andy schleck doing his thing you spoke too soon shug!
  4. there isn't one word of truth in that headline but perception is always more important than reality Froome's secrets revealed: Team Sky release astonishing data to prove British star works at the 'known human limit' in Tour de France glory bid... WITHOUT doping Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/othersports/article-2368282/Tour-France-2013-Team-Sky-release-Chris-Froomes-power-data-prove-hes-cheating.html#ixzz2ZP7BW3Kk Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook
  5. smart pr move from sky getting every news agency to report that they have released their power data while not actually releasing any power data.
  6. they won't be descending down the hairpins.
  7. no point in letting the bloodbags go to waste. krueziger has been very impressive this tour as well after a few mediocre years.
  8. the same thing happened with wiggins at the giro.
  9. leinders experiment 1.0 how fitting.
  10. euskatel miss the break again. it's just well they have the best kits or they'd be a total laughing stock. edit - astraloza is there, hopefully he gets the win.
  11. the tourmalet was a gift from contador which diminishes it slightly imo.
  12. there is a suggestion that his blood disease helps him beat the passport.
  13. they had hotspot but only one angle. i haven't seen it confirmed but what to do in the event of a source malfunctioning must be in the DRS agreement, the third umpire isn't making a judgement call in these situations he's simply going through a checklist.
  14. i'm perplexed as to how i got a weeks ban for referring to a political group as something which rhymes with jose quitongos but this thread is full of people hoping other people die and it seems to be tolerated.
  15. when you have the england captain and coach barging into the india dressing room to demand the spirit of the game is upheld over the bell dismissal surely they set a high bar for themselves?
  16. due to adverse weather conditions. froome has had two bad days this entire year. one at T-A when it was bucketing down and sagan and nibali attacked while he was wobbling about and the other in the crosswinds yesterday.
  17. add in the roman catholic church and muslims and we would be well on the road to civilization.
  18. as i understand it if one component is unavailable then it is discounted in the decision making process. ie. the third umpire had to make his decision on the sources that were working. is that not the case?
  19. just read the comments on the guardian article. froome's back is against the wall now apparently, what a bunch of clowns.
  20. the DRS protocol is agreed in advance of the match. they go with what is available and in the trott decision they had a good ball, hitting the pads, hitting the stumps and nothing on one hotspot or snicko. the third umpire has no other choice but to give out, he is basically ticking boxes agreed by the two nations before the test match. england greeting about DRS being applied to the letter after moaning so much about india not using it is rank hypocrisy. their attitude about broad not walking also stinks after invoking 'the spirit of the game' when the indians got bell out a couple of years ago.
  21. it's good to see the english showing themselves to be arseholes over this. argar - it goes straight to the 3rd umpire, the evidence is inconclusive, got to be not out. trott. australia go to DRS. the 3rd ump follows the process and all the available results point to out. he had no other choice. broad - blatant cheating. giving yourself a healthy benefit of the doubt is one thing, what he did is completely dishonest. the trott decision sums up why i'm against instant replay or any technology that involves broadcasting companies in football. the hotspot camera wasn't on at the required time because of a sky editorial decision. test cricket is obviously inconsequential but imagine a national broadcaster standing to make millions if their team makes it to the world cup controlling the technology in a play off game?
  22. tony martin is a much bigger man than any of the three of them and expended far less effort in the preceding stages.
  23. gazzetta della sport estimate that froome put out 18 percent more power than valverde or contador in the TT. Ridiculous.
  24. the theory is that they are using new drugs called aicar and gw1516 which allow users to shed weight whilst retaining power. it is more than slightly suspicious that these new drugs have popped up just when froome becomes a bag of bones and utterly dominant.
