Finlay was a standout for me in the preseason games and whenever I've seen him play this season, caused teams no end of problems and is a genuine playmaker. We've given him a new 2-year deal for a reason, this lad's got something there. I get that it's not a fun time to be a Loon (seriously, you guys are like the most miserable posters on the site), but I do genuinely think Allan is the kind of player that can help provide a spark.
He will get that beaten out of him by McKinnon’s ultra negative football.

Blacklock away to Dundee North End permanently. Much like his loan in the first place, it’ll likely never be mentioned by the club.

A game between two poor teams.
Elgin came undone after taking off Robert Jones of all players. Not that he is any good but he was holding the ball up well. Dangana looks a good player too, that was obvious at the Huntly cup tie as well.
Two goals is great but McLean didn’t play all that well other than those. Mykyta looked good after he was moved to the left side. Felt Morrison was a better choice for player of the match. Strangely seem to do better going forward when we don’t shell the ball from the back.

Hmmm... February 10th is time enough for the Loons to find him out.
You say that, but by that point our Facebook happy clappers will still be claiming he’s been a great addition.

Rusty McLean has signed for Forfar. I have never been so sure of a guy scoring against us (other than Ben Armour)
Guaranteed to be his only goal for us.

Russell McLean would be a very underwhelming signing if we are to even attempt to get out of this relegation dogfight.
Yes, he’s played under Petrie and McInally, but fans of almost every club he’s been at has been disappointed in him. His attitude, work rate and ability is woeful and leaves a lot to be desired.

They seemed to be missing his finest moment from things he had a part in - demanding we appoint Bollan over Petrie.
He might be stepping down now but if we go down, he has still played a part in how far we’ve fallen.

Shows how bad we are that people would take McLean. If we want a tall striker with no ability, surely we just play Ferguson.
As for defenders lumping the ball forward, it’s long ball enthusiast Andy Munro so no surprises there.

They think it's still the 80s & social media doesn't exist.
It only exists if you comment nothing but positive things.

4 wins in 24 league games. How long are the board wanting to wait until he gets the sack?

Looks like Nditi didn’t make the final squad for Tanzania. Shame for him but to be in the provisional squad is still a great experience for him.

If only the Leagues top scorer hadn't been hounded out of the club eh?
Maybe if he showed the same level of ability. He was poor at us and has obviously realised what parts of his game he needs to improve on so fair play to him.

Comfortable 3-0 win for Stenny incoming.
I, for one, can not wait to see us start with massive goal threats such as Euan Mutale. Or Cameron Ferguson. Or Darren Watson.

MacLeod recalled by United, although the loan ended sometime this month anyway.
Not a big loss, he didn’t really contribute anything worthwhile considering he was loaned out by United to score goals.

Are all three loanees back to their clubs in January?
If so, will probably be three more loan players in the door.
Hopefully more successful than the current 3, they have been nothing short of a disaster sadly.
Ferguson and MacLeod’s loans end in January but Mutale is supposed to be season long. Would expect it to be cut short.

Only chance we've got of a result TBF.
Just gives McKinnon an early excuse to use when we inevitably lose.

The match report celebrating scoring two goals at the end says it all. The first half wasn’t as good as it makes out either.

Am I right in saying all the loan players deals are up in January? I sincerely hope so because what a bloody waste they have all been.
Mutale is until the end of the season, but wouldn’t be surprised or disappointed if he went next month too.

We’ve got 3 wins in 21 league games.
For reference, Irvine had 5 wins in the 21 league games before he got the sack.

Cannot see it. Haven’t had the Board statement of support yet.
Not enough slating of golf days for that to appear.

Oh no, we’ve lost Andy Munro. What a shame.

It’s okay lads, the voice of the stewards has spoken on Facebook, they have never done anything wrong and it is the fans fault they don’t get involved.
