  1. What a day! Hearts fluke 3 points, and I backed Denman at 7/1 4 weeks ago, and also again at 4/1 this week so happy days!! It could have been so much better had Rotheram not caved in against non league Luton and drew 2-2, that cost me a further £145!
  2. Ha ha!! You could be onto something there mate!!
  3. The 2 I posted earlier didn't quite work out as I had hoped, but I had a nice treble up with Strongpoint, Rivaliste, and Bellvano! That pays for the weekend! I also backed Fred Bojangles at Musselburgh, and the nap of the day Steviemac at Thurles, so apart from the shite posted on here it's been a good day I'm a huge Denman fan and have been backing him for over a month now for tomorrow, but I cant get away from State of Play who gets a full 2 stones in weight and is around 12/1, a wee saver might be the order of the day methinks.
  4. Old Benny looks really well handicapped in the 2.05 at Newbury at a huge price, I think I'll back Factotum to win and do Old Benny e/w, with a small reverese f/c, it looks a cracking race. Also Afsoun in the 3.15 is going chasing for the first time looks mega interesting, as long as he jumps. He's rated 20lbs lower over the larger obstacles than he is over hurdles and would murder this field over hurdles.
  5. He he he, your back in the game, I love it when that happens!
  6. Loving you guys knowledge on horses, and I'm also a huge fan of Denman, I still think at his best he's better than Kauto Star and it's a crying shame he's had the heart problems (hey, we've all got Hearts problems!) because it would be interesting to see where he would be today if still at his peak. I've backed him for the Hennessey more out of blind loyalty than expectation as Nicholls horses have tended to need their first run in them this season (see Kauto last week), but Nicholls is very bullish about him even although he reckons he's not so well handicapped now as he was 2 years ago. Barbers Shop is a worry, and I tend to agree with Cabbage about War of Attrition, his price is flippin massive for what the horse has achieved and is off a featherweight! The ground will ultimately be the deciding factor on the day, and Denman just loves some cut underfoot, but so do a few others. Fingers crossed for the tank!
  7. Yeah the connections were a bit miffed at the meeting being called off mate, but he's been declared at Kelso tomorrow, however the race is probably a bit too far for him and out of his reach and they think he'll run out of steam 2 furlongs from home. I'll watch it with a small each way interest if Kelso gets the go ahead, it's mega flooding in the Borders tonight.
  8. Just noticed Vogarth finished 6th after leading most of the way, but tiring inside the final furlong
  9. Sorry mate, went out to work and just back in the door, haven't even had a chance to check how it got on yet. My reasoning behind it was that it's been jumping for 4 or 5 races without much success, however it was reverted back to flat racing today where it's form was pretty decent at that level before it decided to go jumping. On a brighter note, I just seen Rangers go 2-1 down and I have a decent bet on the Romanians, fingers crossed!
  10. Is it just me who thinks that Vogarth is worth a small each way punt in the 4.50 at Yarmouth, currently trading at around 40/1?
  11. Notts County, I farkin hate Notts County, I want to burn Notts County to the ground, I'm going to start supporting Notts Forest just to piss them off!! I was in line for a nice lift tonight when Bradford scored in the 91st minute to equalise against...............yep you've guessed it, Notts fucking County!!!!! AAARRGGHHHHHHH!!!!! Third time this season they've buggered my arse!
