  2. Disagree with your point re Gillespie. He's still got something to add to the team. When he's on it no one else in the squad can get the ball down and make us play the way he does. He needs an energetic and mobile midfield partner in there and Power isn't that guy.
  3. Agree on Power. I think he is done and needs benched ASAP. That or could he play at centre back? Having the game in front of him may help. On bearne - there's a player in there and he has ability but he lacks any confidence at all. Tough one to get back if he isn't getting more game time. Boyd I'd say is also one to persist with ( I know I'll be in the minority) . He started the season well and was direct, taking men on and driving into the box or getting the ball into the box. I don't think he's been as bad as others have made out this season and has become this seasons target for the boo boys.

  5. I was in the shed and didn't hear that. I don't mind different styles as long as they're effective. Pleasing on the eye is a bonus at our level and I was impressed with how Airdrie tried to play football on the deck and retained possession. Went 1-0 up, kept the ball, soaked up pressure when needed and hit quickly on the counter. Good away performance.
  6. This is true although the tide is starting to turn in certain quarters. Last few games there's been some negativity directed towards him and allegedly someone had a go after the game in hospitality too. Can understand people's frustrations but some of the shouts have been terrible. Guys that have no clue about football
  7. No complaints about the result. Apart from the first 20 mins Airdrie were the better team. An old cliche but the first goal was always going to be so important and the away side got it. Really impressed with how comfortable Airdrie were on the ball. A young hungry team happy to take risks and play out when they can. The total opposite from us.

  9. Not looking forward to this one and could see us struggling if our injured players are still out and we dint bring anyone else in.
  10. Both injuries looked totally accidental from my view. McCann blameless. Big Darraghs was a freak injury by the look of it. French's injury was a coming together. Shit happens and we are getting a lot of shit in our direction. Move on.
  11. IF you did indeed make a million from the Scottish cup run then it would have been used to clear the debt you had. As for struggling to pay a heating bill. You should know we don't put on the heating or the lights after your former managers meltdown a couple of seasons ago. You're having a nightmare here you delusional fud.
  12. Just in from the game. Deserved win for Dunfermline. Played some fantastic stuff and scored some good goals. Should have had a couple more. Was really impressed with their movement and passing which we couldn't cope with. We came into the game in the second half but never tested the pars keeper due to good defending and our attacking players taking too many touches. Sucker punch came with the 3rd goal which was well taken. Ohalloran McCann and Summers all very impressive. Edit to add Chalmers and Hamilton absolutely bossed that midfield. From a morton perspective just not good enough and we look like a shadow of last seasons team. Worrying.

  14. Another Iain Wilson daisycutter for the win would do nicely here. Planning on travelling through for the game and reckon it'll be tough. Would settle for a point although with the league being so unpredictable it could go either way.
  15. Was this a midweek game? I vaguely remember this all unfolding as I watched just meters away. I also remember a game v Dunfermline on a Saturday where Derek McInnes lobbed the keeper at the WDE goal.
  16. Red card all day long. You can't expect to throw your arm/elbow in the direction of an opponent and expect to get away with it
  17. You must have excellent eyesight to be certain that waters was pretending to be hit.
  18. Folk talking about the referee being stronger. He was certainly fucking strong when we played raith as starks. Gave multiple bookings and 2 penalties against us.
  19. Good result that. More like the Morton of last season. The salty tears of the DUTV commentators are just lovely.
