  1. Never mind that, where's my crate of booze I've ordered for Christmas?
  2. Also, unlike a lot of you I look forward to the snow. The Cairngorms have 10 runs open today, instead of yesterdays 6. By the time the weekend comes there will be plenty of boarding to be done! Shame I don't have the time to take advantage of it until mid-December.
  3. Light dusting in Elgin and Fochabers when I was there at 9am, the lads I have working out there said everything was white by the time they left at 3pm. Light flurries in Inverness and Alness in the afternoon, just starting to lie in Alness now. If you want to waste a few minutes of your time at work I recommend having a look at the Traffic Scotland Live Eye Cameras. Always a good way to see where the snow is!
  4. The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009) Not a bad film, relatively predictable. But decent enough performances from John Travolta, Denzel Washington and John Turturro. No real twists, and not a an excessive amount of action, but somehow still seemed to be quite a brief film despite being almost 2 hours. 7/10
  5. The reason they have to ask for the bond, is because there is alternative measures that can be taken at this stage, i.e. demotion etc. In the case of Stranraer etc, they were already into the season and the only option could have been to disregard all of the results against them.
  6. I think next season is the least of their concerns right now. It is still possible Livi won't make it to next season. Also, with the financial issues and a likely squad restructuring, its likely that Livi may also struggle in Division 2 next season. But we're certainly getting ahead of ourselves at the moment. The outcome of tomorrows meeting may well be simply "Livi will remain in the first division, with a penalty to be decided at a later date."
  7. We could just attend the games and promise to pay at a later date, with no real intention of ever paying...
  8. Sounds fair, although I think there would probably be a number of clubs who would be hit straight away by any ruling, such is the state of the scottish game.
  9. I agree, but only in a small part, I feel it's the timescale thing here. I mean with regards to County, I believe that our programmes ussually go to press on a Wednesday. It's simply too late to demote Livi now. The SFL missed their chance last week and as a result has already lost its credibility and integrity.
  10. I agree, I mean last year with one of the tightest leagues seen, livi ended up i think 7 or 8 points clear of the bottom. A 10 point deduction this year, would make it far too easy for them to compete to stay in the division. Granted they've lost the likes of Griffiths, but perhaps a 15 point deduction would be a suitable punishment, from which there is still a slight glimmer of hope they could survive, but most likely will not. At least it means on some level they've got something to play for. I mean we could all be playing a completely unmotivated team for months should they could be relegated by Christmas thanks to too heavy a points deduction.
  11. Anyone else getting fed up of waiting? I'm burning out my F5 Button.
  12. Perhaps the SFL would have to compensate the clubs in some way for losing two home games. And of course compensation would not need to be as high to account for the less attended games of the third, compared to the first.
  13. neander: noun: Someone who holds power tools in disdain. Is he suggesting that Livingston got to the SPL solely fuelled by a hatred of power tools?
