My first look at the new and improved Accies squad. We need another centre half as playing Longridge there in a 2 won’t work all season, he would be fine on the left of a 3.
Barjonas looked quite unfit tbh. Hopefully just the change in going from part-time to full-time again as Andy Ryan looked a bit slow his first couple of months when he came back as well.
Zanatta is an imposter, he could have been hooked at half time. No surprise we looked miles better when him and Smith came off.
The big Burnley boy looked a handful when he came on and got a deserved goal. I imagine that will probably get him a start ahead of O’Hara through the week who didn’t look great.

Genuinely punched the air when Catherine got emptied. Giruy.

That was some Casa, sadly big Ouzy will be out on his arse soon as the Scottish girl with the alien shaped head will go crawling back to Tyrique who despite what he says will take her back.
Tyrique and the other guy both being about to start crying was great tv.

Nah, I'm in this too deep now. If Catherine goes back with that Elom bloke and Scott is on his own, I will literally die.
RIP. Can I have your Newcastle season ticket pls? X

The one thing annoying me about all these signings is the club having to shoe horn references as to how great Gerry Strain is in every one of the announcements. It’s not going to make a big chunk of the fan base forgive him any quicker imo.

Connor Murray playing for Hamilton tonight as a trialist. Wonder if he has his Casper outfit on

So I shouldn’t be intrigued?

Getting Tumilty back is genuinely the best move we’ve made this summer. The club really are pushing the boat out this season, pity they couldn’t be even half as arsed last season.

All that was missing from Elton’s performance was him actually resurrecting George Michael, fair play from a non Watford FC fan

Watched Maneskin earlier, this is shite in comparison - from a 80s rock fan.

Interesting to see the club confirming on insta hearts rejected an approach for Connor Smith (for a loan I assume).
Also not shocked to see Matthew Shiels playing as a Trialist for EK today but still worrying why we attempted to keep him when it’s clear he isn’t good enough.

How shite would it be if you were bobbing about on the surface somewhere but you are still fucked because you need someone outside to open the sub.
Surely with the super strength you would get from knowing you would die if you don’t do anything you could break the sub open at that point?

I've liked Henderson before but O'Hara and Hendrie are quite iffy signings imo. Need to be careful that we don't fall into the trap of summer 2018 and 2019 where jokers like Tom Taiwo, Sam Kelly and Owain Fon Williams were getting hyped just because folk had heard of them/their team.
Genuinely who tf was hyping Sam Kelly because we had signed a reject from Grimsby?!

Stephen Hendrie in for Shiels is a massive improvement, but losing Tumilty and even Doyle for no Rightback at all is a worry just now.

Everyone slagging McLean can suck another egg btw.

Has Mcgown finally left the building with this statement or almost certainly as he still holds the rights to stadium we are still fooked
Wild that our Owner thinks we suffered back to back relegations, good to see how much interest he really has in the ‘football department’. Sadly he’ll still be about like a bad smell while still owning the stadium.

Shiels and Tumilty away. No surprise about Tumilty but I thought we might have come to a begrudging agreement with Shiels.
Martin and Mimnaugh quoted as still being in talks, so I'm guessing everyone else is under contract (u18s + Redfern and Owens).
It's good having this clarity from the club's website, but they've still got that weird formatting issue and Twitter is a joke.

Shiels is mental if he thinks he is going to get a better gig than us and I wouldn’t have even bothered keeping him, good riddance.
With Tumility going yet again we will no doubt go into a season with no recognised RB.

Kilday confirmed. Good signing IMO. I would’ve thought he could have got another Championship team.

Very trendy purple bandage though

Stuart Taylor is apparently about to become our assistant manager - what was the script with him at you lot?
Excuse from the board that he was emptied because a 6th place finish wasn’t good enough and/or he was being paid Premiership wages.
Both were clearly lies and it was just that his face didn’t fit with Colin McGowan.
Solicitors were involved when he left so his pay outs from us must be finished if he is taking on new work.
Would've likely kept us up this season as he could atleast set a team up to a semi decent standard unlike his successor.
ETA: He is probably the definition of an ‘experienced number two’ which is what Docherty will badly need.

Dunno about now days but previously transfer fees were ringfenced to build magic domes which turned out to be inflatable tents and then any excess siphoned off to Nigerian Princes.
Hoping the business model has changed nowadays.
