  1. It's very simple and no problem. My father is a friend of Rankbadyins. It was him that called me yesterday. He never said anything he told me was not to be repeated. He phoned me again this morning in a rather jovial mood to say that his pal had been back on the phone and that they managed to deduce between themselves (due to the contents of my post) that The Ghost of Jim Morton was the son of his friend.I then believe they had a good laugh about it. I was delighted to find that NR was either reading this forum or that someone close to him was and was feeding information back to him. My father tells me he is a "bloody nice bloke" and I have no doubt that he is, but as a football fan who hates the idea of anyone setting out to MAKE PROFIT from a football club I told him (my dad) that I thought Rankine was a chancer who was using Livi to generate personal wealth..He has not amassed a personal fortune by being charitable. That may be the way it goes in business, but for me, football is not like any other business and the ruthlessness that permiates elsewhere has no place at our table..
  2. If anyone wants to ask Rankbadyin a question, just post it on here.. I can assure you that he ( or one of his lakeys) will read it. After my little piece yesterday, I had a phone call this morning telling me that "The Bookie" was aware of my comments and was delighted that ( in his opinion) I was making him look good.. All bluster though, as no amount of spin can make him look good in this saga in my opinion. The one thing we can be assured of is that Neil Rankine is in this deal for one reason and that is money. He is no philanthropist that's for sure and he did not amass a fortune by being stupid. Sneaky perhaps, ruthless, probably, but not stupid. He sees a profit in this deal. Everyman and his dog thinks that that profit will come when a meek WLC sell the stadium on the cheap and then the Livi 5 consortium sell it high for housing development. I find that hard to believe but then I never thought for a minute that they could get WLC and HMRC to accept 5p in the £, so maybe I am just being naive We have already ascertained that Livi will turn over a lot less than they will payout, so where is the cash coming from to bridge the gap..Even running with only 35 full-time employees at an average of £350 per week would give them a wage bill in excess of £13000 a week when you add employers NI contributions (if they pay them this time round). Add on the day to day running costs of maintenance, utilities, rent, food and beverage costs, insurance, medical costs, bonuses, travel costs ,kit, stewarding and police (I am sure there are a good few more I have missed but you get the general gist anyway) and there will be little left out of £25,000.. That would give an estimated yearly expediture of £1.3 million.. Now to revenue.. 22 home matches ( thats giving them 4 cup games) with attendance of 1000 ( more than they are getting right now. Take off 300 season ticket holders, so 700 ( and we will give them an average price of £12 which is probably too high) £8400 per game x 22.. That will generate just over £184,000. Lets say they also get £5000 per game( again probably to high) through other sales.( hospitality, programmes, food etc) That's another £120,000. Sponsorship..£100,000 ( although why any reputable company would want to be connected to a football club with a history of financial problems like Livi is beyond me) Money from the league..Cup run ( maybe?) we will give them another £100,000 Now it's pretty easy to see where this is going.. We are only just at £500,000 .. So we could safely say that there will be a deficit of £ 700,000 to £750,000.. ( so much for the quote " We will only spend 99p for every pound we take" Where will this money to plug the gap come from?? From you Neil? from McDoog? There's been more than 1 fortune lost on this club already and I can't see you throwing yours away..How would you pay for the big house and the cruises?? Now this could be total bollocks and as I have put it up here , I am here to be shot at.. If anyone in the know, and that encludes you Neil , wants to show the world that in fact, Livingston Football Club/Livi 5 actually have a sound business plan which will mean they pay all new debt within an acceptable business timescale and are capable of financing a full-time team without the need to accrue another shit load of unpayable bills, then please feel free to publish the facts on this site and I will be the first to say well done... I won't hold my breath though.
  3. Lets not let this thread die now... Can anyone tell me what the rules are regarding bookies and football clubs?? Is it against the rules for instance if someone who is a bookie and a board member of a league club gives inside information? (this is the case in horse racing) It would seem that a certain person is cook-a-hoop about the position his newly aquired club is in now that they have again stiffed their suppliers, and has phoned at least one person that both he and I know (that person called me tonight to tell me he had spoken to the bookie this morning) to tell them to lump their hard earned on Livi winning the 3rd division at a price of 9/2 ( that was before this afternoons game. I do not know what price they are now) Is this perhaps how Livi will be funded this season as it is obvious that they are going to lose money by remaining full time.So rather than actually investing cash directly in Livi could the bookie have a very large ( or more than one very large) wager on them winning the 3rd (which as they have stayed full time and seem to be getting no points deduction should be a breeze now) I hope he has and I hope it goes tits up.. This man is a snake....
  4. I have been having problems all night. I get in to threads okay but then the page freezes and I get the old " this program is not responding " message. It's not my machine though as it is working fine everywhere else except P&B..It's a pain in the arse
  5. 12,000 post plus and nearing 400,000 ( four hundred thousand) views.. This truely is a monster thread..
  6. Thanks for that . Thats unbelievable stuff. They seem to owe quite a few different football clubs as well. When you see it like that it's mind blowing.. The Administrators costs are crazy..
  7. It's at times like this I am gutted and a little annoyed that I got myself banned fron Livi lions. Thanks to all who are posting some of the expected guff for us all to read. Some of these guys just cannae seem to realise that they have got everything they deserved. They have swindled good and decent people, causing some businesses to go to the wall and leaving families in financial hardship. They have also tried to manipulate the situation in recent days by drip feeding information about certain members of the football communitty to the media . They have had this information for some time but held it back until they though releasing it would help their cause. What next?? Will some of them walk,? Will WLC be brought to task for their subsidisation of a private business..Are they actually out of administration yet?? Will hey just lock the doors and go home? What goes around comes around..
  8. It seems even BBC Scotland have become bored of the Livi saga.. Not a fucking word..not one..WTF is going on?? Is the appeal even going ahead today.. Maybe they rejected the appeal and are now being held hostage by Rankbadyin and McDoog...Maybe they all got so bored they have fallen asleep... If I was a Livi fan I would be going daft about the time this has taken, although as has been stated already, the longer it goes on the better you would think the outcome might be for Livi ( unless of course they really have been taken hostage)
  9. News just in.. Livi to remain in 3rd division. Club to pay all legal costs ( around £15,000) and docked 15 points.. Don't you just love it Carling don't do appeal decisions but if they did..
  10. It,s nearly Monday ...Oh goody...This time tomorrow hopefully the Livi saga will be done and dusted and the c*****d b******s that are the Livi 5 group will have nowhere left to go. Then we'll see what they are really about. 3rd division football, points deduction, , pish attendances, bills to be paid, dire revenue...Lets see how long they hang about when it starts costing them £5000 a week each..Their tactics up to now have been disgusting, disruptive and disrespectful.. I wonder what they will do when the game is finally up.
  11. That's a fucking disgrace. So infact the people of West Lothian, through their council tax, are subsidising a private business.. Yip, a fucking disgrace right enough.
  12. WOW!!!!!! What's going on..This thread on page two.. Unbelievable.. Bump.... Oh and when's your hearing then??
  13. Somebody should get that posted on Livilions and then watch as the forum goes into melt down... New board?? same old bullshit...
  14. When's this fucking appeal then?? They always seem to be on a Thursday..
  15. Here's something for everyone to muse on whilst not much else is happening..Copyright "The Big Cheese" from WAP.. Flicking through an old copy of Blue Heaven last night I came across the following letter from 'Livid Lion' of Livingston dated 05/06/01. Quote:Originally Posted by Livid Lion Dear blue heaven, What a materpiece especially at this time of comeuppance for Daft Dominic
  16. You and yer quoting the fucking rules.. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's 'Mon the Berwick
  17. Do not mock him PLL, when it comes to arseholes Sir Calum is a man with inside knowledge..
  18. Hopefully I will be back at work next week ( I have now been at home for 3 weeks with tendonitis). I am starting to get stir crazy. The only time I have been out in that time has been to go to the football... As for the extra punishment, I would hope that when your appeal fails (AGAIN) that they decide that being in the 3rd is punishment enough. I would only be happy to see a points deduction should Livi then cause more disruption by taking the case to the law courts. In fact, If they were to instigate legal action I would then be calling for them to be thrown out completely..Lets hope they don't eh!!!!!
  19. Is this pish still going on? I 've just seen Livis new poster.. and I like it a lot.
  20. One would only put ones signature after one had written something and as I'm sure your more than aware one never put any comment when one left those words.. They were my statement.. Next please.
  21. It did start on the 7th October last year. If I remember correctly, we were in the same division until May this year..So my 164 post do have some relevance.. Your team though spent last season in the SPL and yet your post count on this thread is 21.. Perhaps you are just preparing yourself for the SFL... It makes me happy that you are now signing yourself as BROKEN TOILET.. Acceptance is the begining of recovery.. Well done... Carry on now... JIMBO.
