Good win for Shire today. First half I thought Shire were excellent. Second half went to sleep a bit. Made it hard for themselves. I don't know how Rodgers missed that chance in second half. At least were able to win the game. If Shire can go on an amazing run. Promotion isn't away from them yet. PRobably need to win 9 out of their last 11 and maybe a draw to win the league.

Junior football, what is the future?
AlanCamelonfan replied to Burnie_man's topic in Junior Football
WHat I want to know is how Burnieman knows what went on in this meeting. You did the same thing regarding the Junior fixtures at xmas and actually got it wrong. You have an agenda against SJFA. All the clubs that want to go seems to only be one or two. Dalkeith aren't even in the Super League. You seem to hang on to every small fact to spin it your way which is not helping the cause. The Only way forward is overall change. Teams jumping in to the mess that is there is a joke unless you are pretty sure you can get your license. Overall change is needed with 16 team Lowland League. A Northern Premier (including Junior clubs from tayside) feeder to highland league. For me it would be crazy to have Broughty etc going to Tweedmouth etc. EOSFL a merger of EOSFL and East Juniors. Creation of WOSFL merge with the SOSFL if they want to come in a lower league and be happy with their own regional set up below west if not could continue on their own. It really isn't hard but we as a nation like to make things hard -

The Scottish womans league is like that. Tier 4 is North South, West and East. The third Tier north and South then SWPL 2 and SWPL 1 -

HIll on earth people are talking about jumping queues it pisses me off because going on about lowland league west and east which would mean they are. juniors wil and should come in at t6. none one thinks eosfl is superior but they are there and we arent. -

Why do people keep saying this. This gets on my wick. Junior clubs aren't going to over take EOSFL clubs to go into a Lowland League. The Junior clubs will come in at tier 6. Absolute ludicrous -

Maybe its less awkward for most people who just follow one team. But I support Camelon but also like the Shire and Dunipace. IF all these teams were in the one structure could I still follow all 3 in the same structure or potentially the same Division? Where as right now their is no chance of them meeting other than Junior cup for Camelon and Dunipace. -

At least the Colts have a suitable base in the town they are from. It would be good if htey could start to get more of a following -

It wasn't me that said it was a stirling albion fan. But on your point a guy I know played both Lowland League and Super League Junior. He said that Lowland League is more time on the ball and more technical. Junior is a lot more phyisical -

THey are tied up with LK Galaxy. BSC don't have a fanbase. They have no home. I think thats what the guy was trying to get at . -

Your arse Rodgers would get in any Junior side. The back bone of shire team was CAmelons team. Speculation that Grant will be back. -

Shows what you know. BSC Glasgow are at the top of the Lowland League you lunatic. Potentially going into the league. They have the players that would hold their own in a combined League. The top 8 or 9 Lowland League clubs would easily maintain a top division. What you claim that was explained to me is East of Scotland clubs who aren't up to the level not Lowland League clubs who have no fans but still have good teams like BSC Glasgow. So what do you not get about that? -

From stirling albion supporter on the Bsc Glasgow thread on Lowland League forum. With us having no game today, I decided to venture along to Recreation Park and watch BSC Glasgow face Cumbernauld Colts, see how our old friends Martin Grehan, Ross McMillan & Jamie Mills were getting on. It’s actually amazing how many players BSC had that I knew of, Ceiran Donnelly, Lloyd Kinnaird, Stevie Murray, Jack Smith and Ryan McStay, who have all enjoyed lower league success over the past 10 years, so I thought it was going to be a stroll in the park for them.....how wrong I was. The first thing that struck me was how little fans both clubs had in attendance. A rough count before kick off had me at 32, but a couple more could of been hiding somewhere, unnoticed. It’s scary to think with BSC being top of the league that they could soon be replacing a club like Cowdenbeath, Elgin, Clyde or Berwick. Is this the dream that the SPFL board has when they introduced the Lowland League? I would doubt it. -
