Look at Adam Rooney's 2 goals against us, in his last 2 games, both from Holt not stopping Hayes, and McGinn sleeping. Both FBs are our problem. Not stepped up enough, despite my thoughts McGinn had/would complete it. I'm with Nevin here. Dinna get is wrong, the show itself is horrific to watch, but defending our defence is DiStefano esque. McGinn is notorious for falling asleep at the back post, Konrad doesn't win aerial challenges and Holt doesn't stop balls getting put in.

Wouldn't begrudge Gary getting first team football again. Good lad, Deefiant legend, deserving of game time as his career winds down.

That and the related Sebastiano Nela one fingered salute, which everyone knows.

It is standard Hartley tactics to say the opposite of his true intentions. We are crying out for someone to break down the opposition when they get past GGH and to the next level of CM (Ross/McGowan/Low). We have enough CMs, that I won't deny, but their is no balance between them, as when Hartley has signed them all he's said they are 10s. We need a 6 to ease the burden, so here's hoping for his usual tricks.

Fully expect us to go for a DCM now that KT is gone and Hartley can acknowledge is publicly. Wouldn't mind a target man, but Harkins behind Hemmings is working right now so isn't vital IMO.

Good gemme, Harkins had a worldy and we looked comfy all the way. Slightly disappointed that my God Curse Dundee United flag wasn't allowed in, but was made up by the steward ushering me in the fire exit for free because of it. Agree with the general sentiment that he's not fit enough to be an effective and reliable part of the squad. If we were able to pick and choose the games which he plays and he played 25 a season, we'd go for it, but it's just a case of "when he isn't fucked" which is worthless when he's needed in the big games. Lacking 2 DCMs now though.

Here's some ancedotal sutff, assuming he was on the rumoured £2k p/w with us. Kevin Thomson played 12 matches for us this season, totalling 792 minutes over those games (5 full 90 minute matches in this spell). Assuming he was on that reported figure, he was paid £78 per minute, or in working man terms he was paid £4,696 per hour for us this season. All mere conjecture due to the wage being a rumour.

Been told from a mate the boy selling it is dodgy. Its been up a handful of times in the last 6 months and never goes. Nor should it at that total price.

Technically gifted wingers become Centre Midfielders. I'm very narrow minded when it comes to wingers - pace and whipping balls. Without players who have both of those attributes, I have no problem in us playing Stewart as the Inside Forward and someone on the opposite side as the flat midfielder.

Aye, mega shite. How long has Julen got left on the sidelines? I much prefer him and Tam together anyway, but it doesn't ease our defensive issues, means we need ideally 2 defensive players added IMO.

Push them up to £200k+ IMO. He's easily been our most consistent player and has came on leaps and bounds this term.

You said he's a 10 who plays behind the 2 front men, behind the 2 front men is the centre of the pitch. Maybe we're both being pedants, but I don't see him spending much time behind the strikers, I see him more often than not spending time our wide looking for the chance to cut in.

I'd say in the extremely vast majority of games he's played for us that he has stick to the wide third of pitches (wing dependent). The boys never a central player on his life and should never be played there.

Do some folk even watch games? He's a wide player, more of an Inside Forward that a hole player.
