  1. Tele website, not the Courier like I thought. http://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/sport/dundee-fc/dundee-boss-hartley-confirms-need-for-a-summer-overhaul-1.873998
  2. Happy to see Hartley talking about another overhaul this summer. Most of us can see the glaring lack of width and creativity, which compounds our lack of a goal scorer upfront. I can see 10 out and 6 in happening which would give him some wiggle room for January time without needing to go back to the board. From his words in the Courier it seems we might change formation which I will welcome. We are too easy to hold off with our narrow line up.
  3. Aye, 4 full touches (5 if you include a clip) of the ball, loses possession then is dragged back?! Astounded me. UEFA rules state the benefitting team must gain full posession of the ball (check), then be in control of the ball (check) for their to be advantage. Additional advice is that teams can gaain "Game Advantage", and in this case they did so as they were "clearly and dynamically moving towards the opponents’ penalty area". Thems the breaks like, but I think we're getting pretty unlucky in regards to the advantage rule, both with others teams getting them and us not. But that's down to the poor standard of officiating in the country.
  4. The more and more I read from Aberdeen fans and friends who support the Sheeple, the more I like this signing. Getting too optimistic though. The Dundee way would be him breaking his leg on his final SSB appearance.
  5. It's not even about shiting in it really is it? Just somewhere to flush the drugs should the polis be on the chase. Some commentator said "Ten million pounds is nothing in the modern world of transfer fees in football" on the Eredivise Show on Sunday, so £10M each sounds right to me.

  7. Aye. Some folk got worried about the ST prices, but this has reminded them that you need to pay a fair amount to see a top level team. What next? Confirmation of Stephen McGinn signing for next season?
  8. Beyond this summer I'm extremely confident about keeping him. Talking to him at HOF, he talks about things a year in advance, which implies wants to complete getting his own squad here (Davo/Dyer out etc) and give that a crack. Making 4th would confirm it IMO, but 6th and a small re-build then a push for fourth seems the most likely. After that, it's all about how he performs next season. Similar again and he might well be offski, but not for little £.
  9. If the UN sent a UNESCO agent out to check the Derry Bog Tree, I'm sure theyd find a rare (or even new) plant that could make it Scotlands best Jungle. Worthy of a WHS award IMO.
  10. Donalded is my new go to word for getting malkied, well played sir. Of course it goes wrong, but I've got a mate whos broken his ankle at a game before jumping and celebrating, should we all sit down permanently? It's soft as f**k IMO. If you don't want to be involved in a Rhumba, sit in the Coxer or Main Stand. Surely that's the logic of deciding where you sit? My old man introduced me in the old Provie Road end, then when I got old enough to last a full match got me a ST for the family section in the Main Stand, and then when he felt I was auld enough a Derry ST, assuring me that if we score, be prepared to loup around. The last 10 years of shite atmospheres softened the Derry too much for my liking, get it back to a venomous ball of rage. I've nothing against you mate - I just severely detest anyone who suggests that Derry Tsunamis, Rhumbas and standing (on seats at important times) is wrong. It's wrong for the Coxer or Main Stand, but the Derry is held to a much, much, much lower standard.
  11. I'm assuming you don't sit in the front 10 rows of the Derry or go to many away games? I've seen myself ending up a solid 5 rows infront of where I was at away games after goals in stands with all seated Coxy type seating, like at Killie with Greg Stearts clincher. Started as about 3rd back row, ended up at the barrier in the middle of the stand. There's an art to the push the chair down step over, one that even Ronaldo himself would struggle with at first. Re the caught between rows thing, people dinnae push folk, they run around each other, it's quite an exhilarating experience if I do say so myself.
  12. I've got mates who are looking for a trade if your interested Stainrod?
  13. I don't think anyone disagrees with pitch invasion being a NO. The issue for me is that some soft c**t who wants sanitised, kiddies, Sunday Morning Football atmospheres telling me that the Derry Tsunami isn't what being a football supporter is all about. If Jim Thomson is the person who recommends that stewards stand IN the Derry and not trackside, then frankly he is culpable of the Steward/Polis injuries, as that strategy is like chucking a stone in the water. What needs done IMO? Barriers and gates on the tracks, something that should've been done in 1998, in line with the rest of the ground for safety purposes. As far as the tape at the side to prevent people entering the Derry goes, they need to get a fucking grip.
  14. My ankle feels like it's hanging on by a thread, shins are ruined, and throat is sare, but well worth it Good to see we've sold out behind the goal also. Let's fill the West too now.
  15. The biggest positive to me is that it is Bill Colvin doing the talking. Bill is the stability behind the regime and IMO the real leader who will be here post Yanks. I genuinely believe Bill has us at heart when making decisions. ETA - aye the DFCSS still exist.
  16. I am TEMPTED to give it a spin tomorrow, but that's signal dependant really. And being in the Heeelands, it's not gonna be that great I reckon.
  17. I am indeed the little c***s big brother. Anyway, Greg Stewart back for the weekend? <3
  18. HOF was a brilliant night, pity about the same hitting on 18 at Blackjack in the casino fucking the whole table over at 4:30 like, but great night meeting true legends of the club. Finally managed to recreate my favourite childhood photo with Jamesie Grady. Cheeky b*****d made a joke that at least one of us hadn't aged. Came out with a cracker of a quote though. "Forgive me Derry, for I have sinned." - about having to steal a wage at United
  19. It's a UEFA/FIFA directive that teams aren't allowed to play during set International Periods now if I remember that correctly.
  20. Reaping the benefits of still being in the Union, ken? *This may or may not be an outdated joke, I've no been on here in a while and was hoping the No Voting Scum joke was still going, even after all this time.
  21. And the rest, Eh heard he was on a bonus for every touch he gets. £500 each.
