Anyone who hasn't seen OSW review's video podcasts are definitely missing out. One of the main things I enjoy about wrestling these days. Very funny and well produced. Well worth a look.

Saw this shared today. Urgh ...

We had a 2 round competition at our place this weekend (rounds on Saturday and Sunday). On Saturday I carded a nett 68 (-4) to lead the competition and was cut to 5 for the first time. Over the moon. Next day, 88. Nett 83. What a stupid game this is.

Okay ... my mistake quite easy to forget specific details after 3 rounds. Erm ... why the big interest? And how do you know this? I know everything is on HowdidIdo etc. but really??

Played in the Brechin open on Saturday and did ok. Shot 77, nett 71 (-1) but was 2 under through 6 so I feel like it should have been better. Magic 2 on the card though so that softens the blow! Also played in the Forfar 36 hole open on Sunday. Terrible, Terrible stuff. Ended up carding nett 76 and 72. Anyone know if these cards will be sent back to my home course?

I got a Cobra Amp Cell hybrid 4/5 about a month ago and it has really helped me. Only criticism is that it flies a wee bit high so I would recommend a less lofted version, other than that it's a very easy club to high with reliable distance etc.

Won the Thursday medal last week with a 73, nett 65 so I was cut to 7.0. Followed it up with a nett 70 on Saturday to get to 6.8. Then won my 2nd round match in the handicap matchplay competition yesterday 5 and 4. Pleasing, very pleasing.

Pinky Campbell. Our first win came on Boxing Day IIRC, and he brought Graham Gibson back after he went to Australia ... and played him at right back.

Played in a medal on Saturday. Feel that I am hitting the ball well enough, just stupid mistakes cost me. Finished up with an 84, nett 76. With 2 triples and a double on the card it could have been so much better. On the plus side, the course seems to be heading in the right direction. Greens looking a bit better and running pretty consistently. Enjoying the season so far!

I also got this just after Christmas, can't complain so far. As you say it's so much more forgiving than my old driver. Just hope it lasts!

The Titleist website says they will be available from the 14th of March, although it may be a wee bit after that, they look really nice actually. I got a couple of mizuno wedges last year and they have been fantastic, and a wee bit cheaper than the Vokeys.

Anyone else started this year yet? Had my first 18 on Saturday at Brechin. Starting off the season at handicap 8 so determined to keep it up throughout the year. Not sure when Saturday medals start up so looking to get a good rhythm going before they do! Shot 77 around Brechin off the winter tees (nett level par), so not much of a challenge length wise, but was good to get a swing going again. Got myself a new driver as well, the Cobra ZL Encore which seems to be far more forgiving than my old Cobra driver, really nice club to hit. Really looking forward to the start of the season now, anyone else starting to warm up?

Well played! I have just become champion as well My Darmanitan did most of the work actually, really helps to have a strong fire type in there. Not as hard as I thought it might be, sort of played into my hands a bit, for example the way the champ healed his escalvalier opened the door for me really. Another bonus was that my Deino that I took with me evolved with the Exp Share

After catching most of the legendaries and beating the elite 4 for the first time, I have gotten down to levelling up for round two. Few changes have been made to my party after legendaries and new finds. Serperior - lv. 71 Darmanitan - lv. 70 Zekrom - lv. 70 Metagross - lv. 70 Kyurem - lv. 75 Braviary - lv. 65 Still lacking a water one though, could never really find one that took my interest. Found the legendaries really easy to catch compared with earlier games actually. Thinking I need my whole team about 75 before going back to the E4. Managed to catch a Deino in victory road but can't be bothered levelling it up just yet.

Just about to battle the elite 4 now. My squad looks like this: Serperior (grass) - lv 52 Druddigon (dragon) - lv 54 Darmanitan (fire) - lv 52 Emolga (electric/flying) - lv 53 Throh (fighting) - lv 50 Not sure how I'm going to get on, think I need a bit of leveling up before it but I'll give it a go and see what happens ...

Really enjoying this game so far actually. Just got my 5th badge and I'm through to an electric tunnel place. Currently my team is: Krokorok - lv 29 Darumaka - lv 30 Throh - Lv 29 Servine - Lv 33 Palpitoad - lv 27 Looking for a decent electric type as I seem to be very weak against flying, until then I'm happy with my team of 5
