I was hopeful for the Arbroath game, but didn't see a five goal spanking on the cards.
Great that it's back in our own hands now and even better than that Airdrie will have at least one eye on the playoffs.Β
Big Dunc will maybe contribute to the debate but, Airdrie, feel free to freewheel through this one.
A QP win and Paton to end his goal drought.
I cannot wait for this season to end.

Great mind games from Ferguson
Aye, if he hadn't said anything, Queen's would have won by 8 or 9.

We have utter nonsense of the "champions" of the LL being the best non-B team, irrespective of where they finish. On that convoluted logic, there's an argument for a team who wins the league but fails the eligibility test for SPFL membership being ignored and the next team in the table going to the playoffs as "champions ".
Not that I agree with either.Β

In fairness, if Haughey walked away, QP should have no problems finding a new benefactor.Β There isn't any other club in Scotland that has a directors box like that QP evil overlord lair.Β That's got to be appealing to a certain type of sponsor!

QP fans have one end of terracing tomorrow as well as a couple of sections in the stand.

Arguably the most important game since we started on "the journey".Β Hopefully the injuries clear up and we can select from a full squad.

A massive improvement on the last couple of weeks for QP and, for all that some Pars fans don't think very much of us, you haven't shown us you're much better.
Good shift from Longridge and hopefully Thomas is back for the last couple of games. Concerning about Wilson and Thomson.
A couple of good chances for the Pars that they should have done better with but I think Queen's slightly shaded it overall. Not that that matters if you don't win.
The referee - that's a blatant pass back that the keeper picks up; how can he not give that? And I know that no one really cares about how to take a shy nowadays, but some of them yesterday were well beyond what's acceptable.
I'll chip in that, off the park, Dunfermline do a great job. Stewards and staff were cheery; the Legends bar is very well run; there's a printed match programme; and the food and drink were reasonably priced and of a particularly good quality. A wee visit to EEP to see how it's done would benefit other clubs.

What end will celtic be in tomorrow?
What part of the country is the referee and governing body from?
How many refs are from outside Glasgow and Renfrewshire?
What city are celtic from?
They have the advantages before a ball is kicked, Having more fans there is another one but that's not their faultΒ
You sound like Trump here, desperately trying to back up your view with nonsense.
In what possible way are any of the first four going to give an advantage to Celtic? What end their fans are in??? Where the SFA is based??? Be serious.
If crowd numbers give an advantage, it's down to the opposition fans not supporting their team allowing that to happen. They had their chance to balance that up and failed to rise to the occasion. Hopefully their team put up a better show.

0-3 the last time at End End Park. I'd happily settle for 0-1 this time.

I don't have any problem with the lack of injury news. An opposing team is probably going to set up differently if Thomas is playing.Β Leave them guessing.
We will struggle if he's not going to be fit.

By 'noise' you mean someone asking a geniune question out of interest, that you seemed to get quite upset about?
In any event, it puts nothing to bed. Queens Park have prettyΒ good fixtures. Both of you have Dunfermline away so that cancels itself out, but QP have Arbroath who are as close to a gimme as you can get just now, and they play us at home in the last game. Unless we lose the next 2 and Dunfermline win the next 2 we'll have a 2nd string side out resting players for the play-offs. That's a likely 6 points. Obviously you have the 2 point cushion plus the GD is like an extra point,Β but I reckon ICT will need another 2 wins to be safe which will be difficult.
That's ten times as positive as I could be after the last two games. Hope you're right.

Other than Ferrie's late save, absolutely nothing to be enthusiastic about and the game was gone then anyway. Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. Not acceptable in what was possibly our most important game for years.

Christ, don't mention their discipline record, half the match thread last Saturday was them trying to defend it and deflect from it.
To be honest, I wouldn't give a tinker's cuss about the criticism if QP played that way and it was working.Β

Last night, Morton clocked up their 99th booking of the season; that's three per game and stacks more than next club, Raith, on 64.
That's a decent effort and we can all tune in for theirΒ 100th on Friday, live on council hoose TV.

Back to basics, does anyone have a programme from the Morton game last week that they don't want?

ΒDoes anyone know when the games would be? Canβt see anything on Spfl websiteΒ
Although they are subject to change, SPFL gave out the following for the playoff that, sadly, we could be involved in:
Semi final - May 7 or 8 for the first leg and the 11th for the second
Final - May 14th or 15th for the first leg, and 18th or 19th for the second leg

Horrendous all over the park. We looked like a League 2 team playing a Premiership side.
Apart from anything else, a demonstration of how crucial Thomas is for us. Another good kicking for Thomson, who seems to be getting targeted for a bit of physical stick. Hope he's ok for Saturday.Β
Biggest game for years next week.Β

What a horrendous day. Despite the utter scudding, I had to smile at some of the wee lads down the front taunting United by singing "You've only scored five."

Queen's Park v Airdrie - the season's climax

If Airdrie want to rest a number of players and are a wee bit short of numbers, I'm happy to come on loan without payment. Play me in goal.
