What a great attitude! My grandfather had Huntington's Disease. My own dad has never been tested for it as he would rather not know (understandable). It is the most horrible of diseases and all credit to Robbie for living life to the full and raising awareness of the disease. His family must be very proud of him.

I was cited starting on Monday this week. Got the same message Sunday night. Got a phone call on Monday morning saying they were selecting jury and did I have anything on that might stop me attending up until Friday. I have a nurse appointment on Friday morning so they excused me.

Don't get attached. Sold in January for £50k...

I have private health but it's fairly easy to refer yourself without it. Just find a specialist and ask for an appointment. To give you an idea of cost I referred my wee boy to a dermatologist in Aberdeen, his initial consultation fee was £350 (paid by insurer) and the appointment lasted 5 minutes. Thankfully he managed to control my wee boys eczema in those 5 minutes that our GP couldn't do in 4 years. He wanted a follow up appointment that was another £250 which I was fine to go to as I wasn't paying for it!

Our school homework policy is handed out on Monday for a Friday return but your child doesn't get punished if they don't do it. We have football training Monday, Highland Dancing Tuesday, Swimming and Brownies Wednesday, Highland Dancing Friday and Metaclub on a Saturday when not at Highland Dancing competitions. Life is just ferrying your kids about isn't it? Our two are Saints fans at the minute but I imagine very soon they'll be making the switch to County as they get older and want to go to games with their mates.
