  1. What’s your point? Broxburn v Cowdenbeath. Att 1059 Penicuik v Stenhousemuir. Att 1249 Of course both clubs would be getting the same crowds if they had stayed in the juniors.
  2. Probably because he has an interest in non-league football in Scotland.
  3. Most clubs attendances are generally affected by a number of things. How big the game is The opposition The weather What other games are on in the local area. Our attendances dipped slightly after our relegation a few years ago mainly because no one brought a support to meadow park. Meadow also see a drop in attendances after getting knocked out the Scottish. Strangely, there are a number of folk that only ever seem to attend Scottish cup games. League and WOS doesn’t have the same lure for the local population. I’ve been following Burniemans stats in the Lowland league section for a while and it’s interesting to see the likes of Tranent, Penicuik, Bonnyriggs attendances increasing massively after moving over to the senior game.
  4. Great idea. I’ll try my best and get a rough number at meadow games.
  5. Even worse when the away changing rooms don’t have USB slots [emoji50]
  6. A quote taken straight from brainyquote.com [emoji849] he wasn’t looking at his phone while telling you this was he?
  7. Get back to me if Talbot don’t win the double again this season [emoji849]
  8. This thread has absolutely nothing to do with me and I wish both teams well but we don’t have a poor Park. We invested heavily on it 15 years ago and it has consistently been one of the best playing surfaces in Scottish football. You also didn’t come up against a poor team. We absolutely ran away with the league the season before, comfortably beat Brora and Selkirk in the previous rounds and your keeper (Darren Hill) only saved you from an absolute doing. The most one sided 1-0 wins I’ve ever seen.
  9. Basically everyone is battling to see who comes second to Talbot. Season after season. Junior football is done.
  10. Just had a read at Coves match report. Absolutely embarrassing. Reeks of sour grapes.
  11. The club spent a bit of money on players and won a few titles, yes.... I’m struggling to see your point though.
  12. And that is why clubs that finish top of a league should get promoted to a bigger league. If nothing changes, Talbot will dominate for years to come and interest in other junior clubs will diminish.
  13. I don’t see how folk talking about Talbot helps any other junior team.
  14. I’m not. I clearly said bankies deserved the win as they were the better team [emoji848]
  15. I agree I thought our keeper did well for his debut up until the goal. Our first choice is out for at least 2 months after breaking his finger against Pollok last week.
  16. I’m not using that as an excuse by any means but if those pitches are the future of football then I’m done with it. The ball bounced at least 4/5 feet higher than it would have on a properly maintained grass pitch.
  17. Aye I’m sure Ben was bothered while sitting in an ambulance with a broken ankle, looking at a lengthy time out of the game and time off work.
  18. Ben suffered a Broken ankle. Looked an awful one and he will be sorely missed. Poor performance from us, few players clearly struggled with the surface but no excuse... Bankies deserved their win.
  19. Clydebank 0-0 Meadow Game been stopped for the last 15 minutes. Looks like a bad injury to our captain Ben Carson. Ambulance just arrived.
  20. Clydebank 0-0 Meadow Half Time
