Theres always been rumours that Celtic/Rangers agree a fee with the other 10 clubs before the season starts, a fee which is paid after every away game the OF play, as its inevitable their fans will cause damage.
something like this was mentioned at ST forum

And the problem is the authorities continue to turn a blind eye.
Surely the club know who bought what ticket, so just bill them directly. Sectarian stickers, contact police Scotland.
I can't remember the exact details of the reply when this sort of thing was questioned at the season ticket holders forum before lockdown
But roughly speaking it was that the Club would never make to much of a fuss when any of the OF damage seats etc
The bill would be sent to them and nothing much else because the OF could make life difficult for Saints and we wouldn't see the likes of O'Halloran or Middleton type loans and that type of stuff.

I think he will put Muller in CM ahead of an unfit Gilmour. Back 4 of Brown right, either Rooney or Booth beside McCart and Devine on left. Muller sitting with Craig, any of the attacking 3 ahead of them with Kane up top.
I don't think he will play Muller CM nor do I see CD going with back 4 instead of his tried and trusted System
I can see back 3 of Rooney Muller and Mcart with slight possibility of Dennonker instead of Rooney
Some will say to young players but they have to show they are up to it
We will see though I could be miles out

Where does he fit into the side alongside Wotherspoon? He can't defend, and never has been able to. He can't play wide by the looks of it, and he's certainly not a striker.
He's literally a CAM and that's it. So we're probably only getting the best from him by either changing shape, or sacrificing Wotherspoon.
I was all for another creative player coming in, but it needed to make sense. This is just like we've remembered he exists and he was decent in this league 5 years ago, so give it a fucking go for 5 months and hope for the best. I haven't been able to check free kicks but, at best, he averages just under 2 league assists from open play a season in the last 5 seasons. He's not even scored more than 2 league goals a season since leaving Hamilton 4 years ago, and it might be longer if you remove set play situations.
If he's reliant on dead balls, what's he going to offer us from open play if he's also a liability defensively?
I won't even start on the fact it's yet another loanee, yet another 30yo, yet another injury prone player, and yet another player who's best was at least 3 years ago.
If the rest of today follows suit than that's us effectively stood still for 3 transfer windows in a row. It's not acceptable to still be taking short term punts on ageing players considering the club had so long to prepare for this window.
Heads gone, now dreading today.
Thank feck we have a manager to sort this
save you sleepless nights trying to work it out

Atletico Madrid would disagree
they don't play in a country where red white and blue is viewed as it is in Scotland do they?

I could be Miles of track here but I don't think Saints will be developing the likes of Sinclair and Wills and I'm sure there is another one who's name escapes me
one of those will take over in goal with perhaps and old jobber to cover
otherwise what's the point in developing players especially when keeper development seems to be strong

I've always quite enjoyed that we haven't paid a fee since the livi 2.
Doesnt mean I'd put that over future success, but would be sad to see it go.
we paid a fee for McCart I think

Unfortunately when you’re a massive club you can command bigger fees, whereas St Johnstone would find it tough to turn down over £300k for the likes of McCart. Ideal scenario for them is they accept a bid from us and let us bring in £3m+ for him down the line and give them a decent sell-on % IMHO.

I don’t disagree but I think we’re still short of at the very least another number 10/winger given the gaffer’s on record as wanting to play the 5-2-3. Wotherspoon, MOH, Middleton is very decent - all 3 can play either side or in the middle - but I do think we need to find another. Wonder if there’s a younger but still experienced version of Conway that we can bring in as without Spoony we would look rather short of guile.
Probably George Boyd but he's 35 and would he come up here

Think you've sussed it tbh.
Ballantyne and Gilmour to QOS, Denham to East Fife, and Robertson to Dumbarton.
Robertson got released

So what are you basing us signing O'Halloran on?
Not saying it won't happen but what have you heard?
Pretty sure he is talking shite as I've been told MOH is staying at Saints
Slight negotiations needed on contract and wages but my contact is a journalist and usually spot on when it comes to Saints and reckons it will be tied up soon.

Did well for us (St.johnstone)
He fitted in to managers system really well and broke into first 11 towards end of season including playing in Cup Final
Would love to get him back permanently or at least on loan
Where do Rangers fans see him fitting in next season!?Will Gérard give him a chance?
Do you think he will be put out on loan again!?
Hopefully to us if that's the case
Would be interested to hear thoughts on his future.
Be that Rangers or elsewhere!

Penalties still count. In fact it might be worth signing him for his penalty record alone!
Seriously though, we must surely be able to do better than Callachan.Going to Ross County anyway
But not good enough for Saints in my opinion
