  1. Does anyone know of any games at either of these 2 venues on Saturday morning?
  2. Oakley paid Easthouses £150 and another £100 back to the groundhoppers.
  3. In the league,Oakley's toughest game,by far, was against Preston,we didn't really get a sniff in that one. In cup games,Bo'ness Athletic looked like they would score with every attack and we were soundly beaten over there.
  4. Frustrating night from an Oakley perspective.Should have been more than 1 up at the break and ultimately paid the price for sitting too deep in the 2nd half.In what was a tough match, the referee flashed the yellow card Christ knows how many times, many for barely fouls and when the red needed to come out he bottled it.Couple of the 20's played well for Oakley and hopefully we'll see a bit more of them.Stuart Love scored his obligatory brilliant goal to enhance his reputation as one of the best finishers in the league but fair play to Easthouses who will feel they deserved the draw. The league is shaping up to be as tight as a Fifer the day before giro day, it's definitely gonna be exciting right up to the end. Attendance was around the 50 mark at a guess.
  5. Stonewall penalty I'm afraid!Had both hands up in the air as he went to block the cross/shot and it definitely hit them both.I was right behind the goals and it was very clear to the lino. Lithgae should've won but who can argue against a magnificent strike like that earning a point in front of a crowd of around 200.
  6. I've messaged you on Twitter a few times regarding the attendances at the Oakley games, but I see they're still not published. So here they are again: Lochgelly v Oakley 54 Oakley v Burntisland 110 Oakley v Peebles 64
  7. Excellent start to the season for Oakley,as we comfortably brushed aside a Lochgelly side who seem to have a fair bit of work to do.Great to be back alongside 53 other sun drenched, windswept fans.
  8. Kinnoull -Oakley,unsurprisingly,is off. Oakley have arranged a friendly aganst Fallin MWFC on the astro behind Forthbank for 2pm if anyone fancies standing in the pishing rain and howling wind to see Oakley's 2 new signings from Bo'ness and Camelon. Finished 3-3.Excellent effort from both sides in wind, sleet, hail, sunshine and rain!!Fallin came from 2 down to lead 3-2 before a late equaliser, ensuring a draw, which, taking all into account, was a fair outcome.
  9. "there's a few Lowland League clubs who seem to be following the Gretna model". Who's that then?
  10. Headcount just before half time at St.Andrews-Coldstream is 87.
  11. Saw the evidence for this on Saturday with the markings for the cable trenches and positioning of the lights, which have been acquired and are in storage.Great to see the progress of the club continue.
  12. Congratulations to Musselburgh on a fantastic victory.Hope the Scottish provides you with the excitement you've deservedly earned.
