The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

Well one would have thought they would be very decent. Given they played major parts in the Bulgaria side that knocked Germany out in WC Q/F USA '94. http://www.planetworldcup.com/CUPS/1994/qf_ger_v_bul.html They also played in Euro '96, which was the summer they both signed for the Dons. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Euro_1996_squads#Bulgaria Kiriakov looked decent enough from early on, but apparently was an affa c*nt to drink, gamble and f*ck aboot wi' sluts and his lack of application/commitment to training did show. Went doonhill pretty badly. Think he was frozen oot towards the end. Tsvetanov was the better player for us. Thought he played quite a few decent games for us, but ultimately fell away in a struggling Dons side that finished 6th in successive seasons. Overall: Disappointing given their international status. -

Oops, wrong threed. -
Aye, they are nae the sharpest like. I had a Sevco New*** fan bragging to myself and Dundee supporting mate in a Hamburg pub, that they were in the top 10 of average attendances in European football this season. Christ, they wouldn't even be in the top 10 in the country we were in (actual attendances...with the word "attendance" itself being the clue into how these averages ...er...should be calculated). Various other triumphalist, utterly embarrassing drivel followed, actually believing he had superiority over us. You could see it in his face. Until the smile was wiped off clinically at any morsel he attempted to use to enforce that "superiority". All topped off with a classic "dig" at my Dundee mate. You lot are worse than us! Was the cry. You went into administration twice! Er...seriously...do I actually have to explain this to the boy? Dearie me. Walked out of the pub shaking my head and laughing. Actually felt sorry for the boy later on. Fck me, if that's all he has to cling on to...

They probably thought that 10,000 to 15,000 was the extent of the mugs from the previous club who would commit to the Newco. Given that pre-season most appeared unlikely to commit over suspicions about the owner. Few choice words from fat Sally...a few rabble rousing statements from that lunatic Green pandering to the base element of the support and...hey presto...everyone is aboard. Impressive effort from the unhinged Yorkshireman. Or is he really as mental as he appears?

The club I follow has existed since 1903. The club you choose to follow has existed since June 2012. The club you used to follow (assumed) is a completely separate entity, and one currently undergoing the liquidation process, following which it will cease to be. I know it's tough for you to swallow swallow, and I make allowances for your clear lack of intellect, but you need to get over this. It's the way it is. No matter how much you and your fellow Newco fans choose to delude themselves over it.

I'm not going back (8pts SSC) to another Scotland game with SFA having that imbecile Regan at the helm. In fact, so fcking sick of the whole utter disgrace of Scottish Football that will not be going back at all if vermin reincarnate are parachuted into SFL1. I'll honur my corporate commitment to AFC this season in a *** free SPL, then that will be it. End. Seriously. What a fucking retard.

Well done AFC. Now. Let's see all other chairmen/boards grow some bollocks and ensure justice is done. P&J Dons to vote against Light Blues newco after supporter unrest By Paul Third Published: 14/06/2012 Aberdeen will vote against allowing a newco Rangers into the Scottish Premier League. The Dons directors have listened to their supporters – vehemently opposed to the Glasgow club being allowed to stay in the top flight – and are prepared to suffer the financial consequences of putting Rangers out of the SPL. I know AFC were bombarded with emails yesterday to make it known they only had one choice in the matter. It would be financial suicide to vote yes. My link
