A midfield with jacobs and rankin for me wont be good enough. I really rate jacobs but i dont think rankin is the creative force we are needing in there. Maybe tapping but it all comes down to him remaining injury free.0 -

I'm more disheartened by the fact we're fielding our best starting 11 (swap Dykes for Lyle) and have had one shot on target and that was via a freekick.

I think it's incredible some folk are putting the defeat down to Dobbie not being on the pitch.

Even if Dobbie had stayed on the pitch I reckon the outcome would have been the same - look at the midfield! I doubt Dobbie could do anything about that.
As has been already said, the worry about yesterday's result is our lack of depth. Naysmith's next 3 signings are going to be crucial in deciding what kind of season we'll have.

Aye seems that way. Not going to help if we start off poorly i would think. Of the 3 signings still to come in i really hope one of them is Joe Thomson. Him and jacobs in the middle would be a good combination. Would relegate Rankin to the bench.

Always the same people on here who get touchy or aggressive over someone's opinion. On here all the time but don't post much because certain people can't stand someone having a different opinion to theirs. The word "debate" just got used but it's not very often I see one on here, just a bunch of guys getting touchy and replying with immature insults.
