Looks like we had some overnight in East Kilbride. Not a lot, just enough for it make those frozen patches that pensioners so dearly love.
edit for spelling.

I live quite close to Club 30 actually, challenge accepted haha
Good lad. But remember. Photos or it didn't happen.

Snuff by Terry Pratchett. Cracking book, as all featuring Sam Vimes generally are.
Next up is Colditz: The Full Story by Pat Reid. Had read both The Colditz Story and The Latter Days At Colditz many years ago, so this should be good, being more serious in tone than those two.

Think about it , Immortality dude . Fuxsakes the Green Brigade would even make a banner in yer honour
It'd be upside down or spelt wrong, but it's the thought that counts

Falkirk is a town of contrasts - half the lassies are horrendous, half are superb.
Do the second half not show up till you're on the tenth pint though?

High Fidelity
Great film. Never read the Nick Hornby so don't know if moving the setting to America changes it much.
Solid 8/10
Liked it enough to order a Sonic Death Monkey t-shirt from Last Exit To Nowhere.

The Maniqui's finest:
Red hair - man, dressed as woman, dressed as cowboy.

The one on the left?
Only use of that fecking picture that has never annoyed me.
Well spotted sir.

If the previous pictures haven't done it then these new ones surely have - Club 30 confirmed as the venue for a P&B users night out.

Is it just me, or is the devil-eyed daywalker's head completely out of proportion to everything else in that picture?
Except maybe his mates forehead.

Crackin tan.
^^trying as hard as they can to get wee lassies to think they're a boyband.

Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil. 7/10 Low budget but pretty good.

Another one from EK. While you've got to admire her ability to carry a drink in her hair, someone wants to take a face-cloth to all that warpaint

Time to chuck East Kilbride into the equation.

Someone's telt the one on the left that she looks like Sarah Jessica Parker, but she hasn't realised that it's a bad thing. That or it's Pauline Calf.

Watched Don't Be Afraid of the Dark today. Not that scary. Not too bad though. 6/10.

Opposition fans singing "What a shitey home support" when they come to NDP. As if it's some sort of surprise to them that we've got f**k all fans.

Really not sure what to make of this one.0 -
Yeah, a few of my mates got their bags transfered last day of the Great Glen also. £15 a bag. Last time I did the WHW think it was about £50 for the complete route.
edit to add: I took advantage of this by sticking my tent into one of the bags and lightening my load by about 3kg (2.5kg of tent, 0.5 kg of wet).

WHW is easily the best supported walk in Scotland. Generally, you can find a pub for just about every lunch/dinner time

Good Will Hunting. Had never seen it before so stayed up to watch it on BBC3 tonight. Outstanding. I'd forgotten just how good an actor Robin Williams is capable of being.

"Somehow Ken, I believe the balance will tip ever so slightly in the favour of culture. Like a big, fat, fucking retarded black girl on a see-saw.....opposite a dwarf"
Genius. Another good example of Farrell's comedic ability is Intermission. Great film.
Intermission is a fantastic film. Especially once I realised it was Farrell singing the end credit song, which worked very well with the plot of the film.

How did you get on? I really enjoyed the Great Glen Way, beautiful views of Loch Ness and hope you did the signposted extra ascent for the viewpoint.
My mate and I did it across four days - Fort Billy to Laggan Locks, then to Fort Augustus (short day), then to Drumnadrochit, then final stint into Inverness. If I'd seen this earlier, I'd have given you one tip - stock up on food when leaving Fort William as there is genuinely no shops or cafes for the first 30 miles or so unless you manage to get something at the floating bar at the Locks.
If there was one negative, there was quite a bit of road walking, think it was in between Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit.
Not a particularly difficult walk, but seemed to be more pine plantations than I particularly like with the resultant stony land rover tracks pounding your feet. We did it over 6 days based around wherever my friend had booked a b&b for him and his wife. Will possibly be updating my post in the top 5 places to live to include Fort Augustus. Cracking town.

Quick update. It's now snowing properly in East Kilbride. Big flakes and everything.
