Really disappointed we have not seen any comings or especially outgoings to the squad. Noticed Akinola left Thistle always thought he was a good player. Till end of season would be a no brainer if we can move someone on.

Agree on Akinola especially given he cover midfield too. 6 month deal have a look at him for next year as well

Like I’ve already said players and supporters hate these artificial pitches. Only my opinion but the grass should never have been ripped up in the first place. It’s time we ditched the plastic pitch forever.

They don’t hate them, they just hate ours. Think it’s only way clubs below premier league can go tbh, renting it out making some money. But these pitches need to be looked after properly

Hibs supporting friend has sent me a message this morning saying Hanlon has been told he is free to go and the rumour is a 6 month loan deal to us.

Sounds a bit far fetched considering he has played most games for them this season. We will be the easy rumour shout just now but he would be an excellent player at league 1 level and would imagine he will have better offers than us. Maybe just a rumour but sounds plausible, it’s on twitter and two hibs message boards so it must be true 😝

Much as he’s exactly what we need, I can’t see him dropping to league one, let alone a team sitting 8th.

I think if you had seen the first 20- 25 minutes you might change your mind on whether we deserved a win in normal time, or maybe not. Cliche alert:  it t was a game of "three thirds", first third we were barely in it, lucky not to be 3 or 4 down although we did muster a couple of half-hearted efforts on goal, middle third it was fairly even, Kelty seemed to have run out of puff or ideas but we were sitting too deep leaving Ruth to do a lot of running up front, their no. 6  was mopping everything up, we were well on top in final third of the match, our substitutions swung the game in our favour, we were more direct, less high punts, faster build up, wide men getting forward and getting crosses in. So one third each in control and a fairly even middle third is why in my opinion a draw was fair overall.

Thought it was more we clicked onto their midfield dictating the game. Todd seemed to drop in, Wilson played a bit deeper, stopped the space agyeman was getting into in ten and causing problems. Thought we finished the half the better team, without doing a lot.

Marvin comes across well and appears a good communicator - as you would expect given his appearances on the media.  That in itself is a plus point, I always got the impression (from his interviews) that AJ was just a moaner and couldn't really motivate the squad.  Everything Marvin says on the interview is pretty well what you would expect him to say in response to those questions and that's fine, but as others have said its what happens on the park now that will count.  The first couple of games may well have that positive "new manager bounce", however its the next half dozen games that will start to show his mettle.

Hopefully his contacts will help him to get a couple of decent key loans in this month.

Think the weekend break after Montrose gives him a huge opportunity to get his message across and drummed into players

Good win all over the place to start with but as the game went on we got stronger Connelly and Reilly making a difference when they came on.  We deserved the win  but big worry is the injury to Wilson he limped off hopefully just a impact injury had a ice pack on it.

Bartley was in the stand plenty for him to think about .

Sunday and Wednesday not days off for players said in his interview he would meet them all tomorrow .

He can't make a impact on players that are not good enough or don't have the balls to fight for the ball sadly you can't coach that it has to in the player .

Take any of our defenders or any player  they all  give 100 % every game but they just  can't do the aggressive stuff it is just  not in them .

My worry is Bartley will try and make players out of them that can't be done no matter how well they are coached .

The squad needs a complete change but very difficult to get the players we need clubs not so keen to loan players to League 1.

    He was there today

Incorrect about Morton fans. He was excellent for us and fully earned his step back up a league.

Solid appointment for QOS against all the other dreadful possibilities out there.

Bartley seemed next in line for a management gig but thought it would be further up the leagues.

If he has any of the same attitude and impact as Imrie has had with us then you will love him.

Hopefully he gets you moving in the right direction and gets you above Falkirk ASAP.

Jaze Kabia was OK at that level for Falkirk. You can have him on loan.

Bound to get a couple from yous? Brandon?

  9. Wouldn’t begrudge him a move, but think Ruari is a bit of that standard. Similar to lyndon move where he goes in January but loaned back maybe beneficial for all parties. It’s fair to say he’s done well with his 13 or so goals but easily should have 20?! He also would go there to warm the bench, as Clark and May were flying before the break

If Wullie was not the manager he would start every week .

Hopefully somebody has a word with him.

Have seen the excellent highlights from Edinburgh take it we don't do QOS TV  anymore .

    No interviews this week ?

We lose there up straight away, we win they take an age. Defo we’re done as I heard Lewis was interviewed

Glad you enjoyed coming down for the game! Doing the 42 is a great way to see the country. I’ve not done it consciously, but think I’m about 6 or 7 away now. Should tick a couple of those off this season.

On the programmes, you didn’t miss them. I heard a guy asking for a programme when I was in the club shop and he was told there was a printing issue. We do still usually have them I believe.

From what I’m told the wrong badge was put on programme

I think we can be a bit unrealistic about our budget! We already have quite a big squad and I doubt if we can afford many more. I've noticed already that a few of the sides we have faced this season have not named a full bench so I assume that we already have one of the biggest squads in the league. I know times have changed and I'm showing my age here, but I remember only knowing the names of about 14 players years ago but now that you are allowed about 20 players on the bench, we've become obsessed with big squads.

I think we are going from what our manager has said

Am.i the only one that thinks that Dave McKay was hard down to being dropped. I honestly thought that Paul McKay was our weakest link. At least Dave has a bit of physicality about himself.

Totally agree. Games are passing P McKay by, weak in tackle and in the air, just goes long all the time too.

Buzzing for Saturday. Hopefully a similar feeling at FT and not the expected deflation. If we have serious aspirations of winning the league we have to be taking 3 points against the sides expected to finish lower down the league, especially at home. Something we seemed to fail to do for seasons so it's by no means a comfortable home win on the cards.

Hopefully Paton and Todd make the side. And Wilson to at least be on the bench.

A couple of goals and a clean sheet would be delightful.

Really need could do with both back, Paton sounded the more positive of the two. Unsure whether we’ll add to squad ahead of season starting, think an option behind striker wouldn’t go a miss.

Clyde having Brian McLean and Peter Grant at back, gives them a lot of experience maybe a lack of pace but I think they’ll be tough to breakdown, decently organised.
