    interview is up

Graeme Mathie conspicuous by his absence. Did he really provide the quotes that were attributed to him in the press yesterday?  Is he on board with the appointment? Why has he gone from being the public face of the club to a peripheral figure? Was he in Dallas in November 1963? He didn't even get a name check in this interview.

With regards to the Ayr game on Saturday I have just heard that the Ayr fans will be next to us in the West stand. This is disgracefull and penny pinching on behalf of the club. We have endured nonsense this season with bad language and intimidation from several fans of other clubs sitting close to us. Have the committee not learned their lesson. Away fans should be in the East stand. With two new members on the committee I am surprised that they have allowed this to happen.

If you send over a list of words that aren't allowed we'll do our best to distribute it to all the supporters.

Considering he’s had exactly one season of management, not sure how anybody can be confident of success or failure tbh.

Then again, Lee Bullen finished 2nd and was still largely mocked and derided so who even knows what counts as success for Ayr fans.

Because even though he finished second everything about his team that was predictive pointed to eventual failure.

Early kick off as it was a Scotland game later that day iirc.
Went in 2-1 at half time and I thought this has been hard work so far, as we'd bee 1 down early on.

IIRC Hugh Dallas was the ref and John Robertson chipped their keeper from out on the standside wing.

Stanraer's goal came from a corner that Dallas awarded even though the ball never crossed the bye line. Still angry at him for that.

I've absolutely no opinion of Scott Brown, apart from laughing at him when he was about 20 for losing the rag at Firhill and getting sent off.

Guys done brilliantly with his career, and was a Grade A wind-up merchant to both the Old and New  Rangers 👍

It means more a critique of the horrendous level of reporting, unless you're telling me that people in Ayr have been genuinely 'stunned' at seeing a topnation-level ex player with limited (one club as you point out) managerial experience turning up for an interview for an appropriate level vacancy?

I'm just surprised there was nothing in the article about how beloved Lee Bullen was.
