If Musonda and Kirk turn out to be the best two centre backs at the club, will a back three be used to shoehorn McGinty into the team, or will one of them be forced to play out of position?
It's difficult to identify two teams in the division who are objectively significantly weaker on paper, so until we see a team come together that's more than the sum of its parts it makes sense to be concerned about another relegation scrap. Hopefully those fears prove unfounded.

If Dempsey is playing as a 6 and Murdoch as an 8 then Crawford could presumably be either another 8 or a very deep 10. A bit like the role John McGinn usually plays for Scotland.
