  3. Superb and Oh My God: A cheescake-scented goddess
  4. 95.5 KLOS-FM Kicking-ass in early morning Southern California and a Wintery midday Grangemouth. Clickster

  6. It's all been covered but I'll spare you my last post on the subject ... They did neglect their kids , I saw understood and got over it about a second after I heard the story because although they've done wrong the situation they then found themselves in was horrific beyond comprehension , it went way beyond there being a point to saying "it's all your fault" 'cause they knew that more than any of us ... the punishment did not fit the crime IMO. anyhoo , I'm sure there will be a hundred more "serves them both right" and "Gerry did it" posts on this thread , I just can't be arsed reading any of it . Edited for spelling .. six years later
  7. ah yes , 20 pages on and some folk still want to bang on about neglect Time for me to go back to ignoring this sorry arsed thread I think
  8. If they did do it they did a fantastic job of disposing of the body and any evidence in such a short space of time to the point where three months later two police forces have found absolutely bugger all.
  9. With the press speculating that DNA is the key then I would've thought that ruled out the parents themselves. Which will come as a blow to some folk on here (and hey , I know I said I'd leave this thread alone)
  10. Led Zeppelin's first album , surely the boldest most draw-droppingly awesome debut album ever - and since I'm the only one in the house IT'S F'KIN LOUD , I haven't listened to this in ages and it's like a flashback .. er trip ( ) back in time , nearly creamed myself when "I can't quit you baby came on" and I still think that "how many more times" sounds like a fat bloke struggling to walk down hill Takes me back to when I was young free and single , my wages were like pocket money and my mate and I would get 'f'cked' and go through the 'stages' .... the night usually finished with 'The Wall' .... as it was intended Happy Days I'm off to Italy tomorrow .... f'ck you all
  11. The press have really gone to town on this guy and already have him hung , drawn and quartered , It's not entirely clear what the police have on him other than that he looks a bit shifty (he's got a glass eye you know ) but the press have certainly gone totally OTT on him given that he's not even under arrest . He seems to be just a bit of a fanny who thought he was helping out
  12. The key's are still in the locks ... our doors don't have any windows that someone could smash and then use the keys You've hit on a subject close to my heart though , I sometimes leave for work just after 5am and need to remove the key from the inside before I can lock the door from the outside ... If I can't find a second key I'd never take the 'original' one thinking Mrs Ned could just use the back door , I post they key back through (Does that make sense )
  13. Seems perfectly reasonable to me - especially with the baby monitors . Things are certainly different these days , I collected Ned Jnr from Nursery earlier as you would expect but I'll also collect my seven year old daughter from school later ... a journey I made on my own when I was five ! And when our kids are in bed the doors are locked , it's something we started doing after that little girl was snatched from her bath last year !
  14. Heinz broke into the laboratory and stole the drug. The next day, the newspapers reported the break-in and theft. Brown, a police officer and a friend of Heinz remembered seeing Heinz last evening, behaving suspiciously near the laboratory. Later that night, he saw Heinz running away from the laboratory. Should Brown report what he saw? Why or why not?
  15. let me ask you a couple of questions : A woman was near death from a unique kind of cancer. There is a drug that might save her. The drug costs $4,000 per dosage. The sick woman's husband, Heinz, went to everyone he knew to borrow the money and tried every legal means, but he could only get together about $2,000. He asked the doctor scientist who discovered the drug for a discount or let him pay later. But the doctor scientist refused. Should Heinz break into the laboratory to steal the drug for his wife? Why or why not?
  16. I think I could quite happily draw a line between shooting people and leaving kids unattended Understand
  17. It's a strange thread this , and one which has made me shake my head more and more , I don't know if it's an age thing , a gender thing or perhaps just a parental thing but some folk just can't seem to be able to let go of the fact that these parents f'cked up . It reminds me a little , and hell I know it's not a comparable tale before I get it rammed down my throat , but - there's a test on moral development that kids answer differently depending in their powers of reasoning about a fella who steals expensive drugs to save his dying wife - many kids just simply cannot see past the point that stealing is bad ! not the same but making me think
  18. I'll wager they didn't even wake up , Ned Jnr's 4 and once he's asleep you can pretty much do anything around the house and he'll sleep right through it ... he does , however , have some sort of 'Nookie Radar' that kicks in around the same time as Mrs Ned's wine does I have to say I find myself regularly checking news channels for updates to this story .
