Dominant performance from Clydebank today and were worthy winners ... seemed quite a few less moon howlers in attendance today ... deserting the ship already ???
Hatred dripping out of you with that post some of those cup finals must have left real indelible hurt in you, hope you get over it at some point. All the best.

Bankies grab 3 points in a game where both teams lacked quality, Talbot really lack a cutting edge and giving opposition keepers nothing to do, we need to accept we are in transition with realistic expectations but things need change either shape and additions still required in forward areas.

If we finish mid table we'll be doing well.
Apart from Slooves the signings at this stage look poor.
Think Thomson looks a right good prospect and Boyd really needing a goal.
Also unlucky with the Schoneville injury as he may turn out a good player for us.
It takes time to settle at Talbot and these players have been thrown in.

Absolutely astounded to see you taking a dig at Clydebank. Shocked to the core.
Aye we may not be massive, we dont have the money clubs like yours and others can pay in wages every week, but we’ve helped move this level of football forward in the West of Scotland.
Thanks for that …..

I think you're correct re the standard of the league and also the number of teams. There's no comparison between EOS / WOS and SOS except that they're in the pyramid at the same place. I'd prefer to see some regionalisation of the West leagues from Tier 8 down - to cut down on traveling and give teams some local rivalry. South league would fit well into that kind of thing.
And Clydebank in the Euro Super League as they are a massive club dripping in honours.

Just asking a simple question?
On what grounds do you rate your current number one as promising?
Probably the same grounds as the premier league team that employ him.

On what grounds is your current number one goalie promising? Please enlighten me I'm all ears with this one?
On what grounds do you care?

Hes rank rotten.
A couple of the young boys show potential but until we sign a couple of decent strikers and cut out the errors we'll be nearer the bottom of the table than the top.

You said Stafford was rank rotten

Got to agree with that, think the goalkeeper is promising he has cost us a goal against St Cadocs but other than that we haven’t been leaking goals. The biggest thing for me when we are having good spells we are not clinical enough yet and haven’t replaced Samsons goals. Really good forward or two required and we will be fine, impressed with a few of the signings.

Fine lines a Pollok wonder goal and a last minute blunder and should have 5 points!!

Yes he played, needs a goal for his confidence but we need another.

I do think St Cadocs will be one of the teams to beat, they are practically the East Kilbride lowlands team so will have a big say in the league this year, it's maybe not as bad a result as you Bot fans think
It’s a terrible result with the goals we conceded. Really like the look of some of the new players but we need a bit of experience upfront, a presence who is hard to play with which will allow the other signings to flourish. Brand new frontline all good young players but we need to different type who will take a half chance.

The stand was to be put up as a requirement for the lowland league but as we never made it there is now no urgency to get it built. You seem to have a lot of bad things to continually say about darvel and all the love for ek. Why no away up there and continue to suck up micks arse ya dafty
Another stand is not required for the lowland league! Maybe not going up so crazy money can be spent on player wages.

You North Ayrshire boys can hold your own

Imagine anyone at Talbot having the audacity to complain about a hot reception whilst walking off from a football match
That walk through the stand at the pavilion end at beechwood and then to the pavilion itself ( more so when you win ) is a total hotbed and a vile atmosphere to try and get through and is quite intimidating to say the least .
Big bad Pollock boys how dare you celebrate winning and it was all your own fault when the Talbot Neanderthal chose ( alleged )assault as his best weapon of comeback
Also witnessed Beith fans ignoring segregation and throw chairs at people at Beechwood would say that goes beyond intimidating

Agree it was an encouraging performance.
Crying out for a top notch striker though.
Totally agree we need another front man who is physical and gets goals, that type of player would have made the difference at some point today

Talbot well on top first half hour, didn’t take chances and very poor penalty. Pollok came into it just before half time, second half very even, scrappy and you could see both teams in a bit of transition, Talbot had a stonewall penalty turned down and a moment of quality won the game for Pollok. Positives for Talbot was defensively we looked decent with Slooves having a good debut, negatives was not scoring on top and not working the Pollok keeper enough in the second half. Would have said a draw would have been fair.

One thing I was satisfied in pre season is this squad will have high fitness levels and will be full of running for the 90 minutes. Hopefully our support will recognise we are in transition and get behind the team.

Is it just me that wants a cup upset in Dumfries now?
Not been south of the central belt much? Would take about the same time from Dumfries to Glasgow as Dumfries to Wigtown!!

Were you at the 10-0 game.
A bunch of young boys getting absolutely pumped. It did them no good and it did Talbot no good.
I stand by what I said- a waste of a Saturday
We have to accept that as a licensed club in tier 6 we will always enter the competition at this level. I would imagine that some Hearts fans would have been saying before our matches against them that playing junior teams is a wasted Saturday, something we would have found disrespectful, i just think we should always be the same and accept that we have to start somewhere in the competition and hopefully end up in a decent tie where the club can bring in some money.

This will be th 4th time we have played them. 3 times away. The game at Beechwood was 10-0.
A waste of a Saturday
Wee bit of humility required, there was a time in our history when we were being beat 10-0
