Good win for the Burnie on Saturday, was in attendance.
Tough after getting Darren Potts our keeper sent off after 15 mins or so,but the lads knuckled down and came away convincing 4-0 winners, despite the early setback.
Under 20s keeper Blair Gallagher who came on did well. Whitburn are in a good position with keepers with Jack Wilsdon as well, although I guess he wasn't there on Saturday.

That is the case of promotion/relegation. What's not known is what's on the books for a club going bust/withdrawing from the league.
They would just move everyone up a spot to make up the numbers in the leagues above.

Don't know how true the rumours are around Syngenta, but they've had a a poor start to 2023. Ended 2022 with a win hosting Whitburn, keeping the title race interesting.
Since then back to back losses to Stirling Uni EOS and now Arniston Rangers. Now they're being drawn into the pack of clubs chasing promotion.
What rumours?
Good win for Whitburn yesterday with Syngenta losing. Gives us a bit of breathing space. Should be an interesting game when Easthouses and Whitburn meet in the league cup.

Could do with a bit of structuring.

From what's been said on here. The EoSFL team was set up independently of the college, there was the poster on here that would also chime into say "They're not students!".
Just as well they didn't call themselves Edinburgh College Juniors.

Well done Camelon. I'm shocked.

It’s about availability. The Premier always gets priority along with the other tier 6 leagues.
Without linesmen it is almost impossible for refs to call offsides accurately. But then how often do we see linesmen waiting for a ref to make a decision before raising his flag.
Not often regarding offsides.

Allegedly there’s a floodlight issue.
At least Gretna 2008 gave 6 days warning that the lights wouldn’t workThey could have kicked off earlier and wouldn't have needed the lights.

Good result for Armadale against Leith. Wonder why Gretna v Dunbar was postponed?
Probably because of the totally unreasonable travelling time for a midweek game. 2.5 hours according to Google, and I thought sending Whitburn to Hawick in October midweek was bad.

Looking forward to renewing an old rivalry when Arniston visit Central Park tomorrow. It's been a few years since the teams last met.

And why would that be wrong?
See Rangers, Celtic, Hibernian, Arsenal, Juventus, St Mirren ...
Arniston, or is Arniston an area of Gorebridge?

So if they fall out with stenny and get kicked out do they lose there license
don’t really agree with ground sharing to get your licence
however Edinburgh south should just go for it with Dalkeith
If a club has their own ground, can they groundshare for a season with a club that has the requirements for licencing, then move back to their own ground after they get a licence? Probably cheaper than having to install floodlights.

Good luck to Whitburn tomorrow in their bid to finish the season by winning the league.
Just a wee reminder of last week's celebrations after winning promotion.

Well done Whitburn. Nervy game until the 3rd goal went in, at least it was for me.
Set up nicely for next week with Syngenta now only 1 goal better off. Congratulations to them on winning promotion.
Come on the Burnie.

NOT a dead rubber for the Dale though. The chat on this thread has been about the likelihood of 3 teams getting promoted if Tranent fail to win the Lowland League spot. Armadale had it in their own hands yet again to get ahead of Bo'ness going into the final game to take that chance if it happens.
Armadale have played all of the promotion contenders in the last few weeks and not won any of the games. Good team, but just not quite good enough this season.

There's only 2 games left in conference X, with promotion places probably going to the final game. Surely the East of Scotland should be clarifying the situation so that the 4 clubs involved know where they stand going into these games. Seems basic stuff to me.
I'm starting to get the impression that the East of Scotland has got too big for those running it to handle.

I know the notes refers to 8th place, I think that could be a typo as it doesn't correlate with the graphic. Either the notes wrong or the graphic is wrong.
16-16-18 and then however many left in the Third has always been the intended structure for 22-23 as far as I'm aware. 18 in the First and a very small Third makes no sense and I've never heard anyone discuss the possibility of an 18 team First.
Maybe the league need to absolutely clarify this ASAP.

There has been a tweet in response to a question, though still not complete clarity. I suppose if the EOS want to avoid a 17 team first division if Darvel get promoted, then yes they'll need to promote 3rd place in Conference X. Though it then means a 8 team Third Division next season.
Well, that certainly cleared it up!

Good input, thanks.
I have, and the club do not know.
