I thought yous played well on Saturday, you like to get the ball down and play football,we were very average but we still missed quite a few chances,it would be a pity if your committee cost you the 3 points, but we’ll take them, because I’m quite sure you would have done the same

I don't think it works that way. I think offending clubs get three points deducted (and possibly fined) but I'm sure the original result stands. Or at last under last years (intended) rules - there was a problem with the rules though hence the like of Largs having the three points returned to them. But that was the intention.

What the rest of the prices around the league, it was £8 at petershill yesterday.

The OAP price is £4 at all clubs (except Pollok £5).

Adult price is £8 now at most clubs with Arthurlie, Auchinleck, Cambuslang, Glenafton and Rob Roy £7 (and Pollok £9). Pollok have a limit on their crowd sizes now, don't they? Which IIRC was quite low.

Every page I click on on the site jumps to the bottom of the page and I have to scroll back up to the top to get the menus. Don't know if its just me or a bug on the site but its really annoying and borderline unusable

it jumps to the facebook feed part which is broken so I think that's whats causing it

It's not just you - it's the advertising (I assume) that is causing it. I notice when I use Google Chrome browser I don't have the problem and I use ad-blocker on that browser. But most of the time I use Edge that doesn't have ad-blocker and get this frustrating jump every-single-page.

EDIT : I get it on Pie and Bovril as well to a lesser extent. I'm just about to click on something, the page will jump and I'll have clicked on something else.

Anyone know what the following clubs are charging for entry this season:
Auchinleck Talbot, Cambuslang Rangers, Darvel, Glenafton Athletic, Kilwinning Rangers, Kirkintilloch Rob Roy and Petershill.
    Arthurlie are charging £7/£4
    Pollok are charging £9/£5
It is £8/£4 at Beith Juniors, Clydebank, Cumnock Juniors, Hurlford United, Irvine Meadow X1, Largs Thistle and Troon.

The club pages on the wosfl site now has admission prices on them for all premier clubs, still being updated for the rest of the league over this weekend

Could you not have told me that an hour ago?

Montenegrin FA applies the blackout rule as well. Worth a few points in a pub quiz knowing that imo.

See in about three weeks time I'm going to forget about something really important but that useless piece of information will be lodged in my brain taking up the space for the stuff I need to know. Thanks.

All clubs should be charging the same, probably around £8,  to let clubs set their own prices could stop fans travelling to away grounds under the current cost of living crisis that is going on.

Those days are gone and are never coming back as long as it's a Senior League set-up. Is there any other Senior League in Scotland that has a set price for all its clubs?

Last season someone came up with a graphic that had all the admission prices for the various clubs - anyone have similar for this season? Can the WoSFL release this information as clubs would likely have had to state their prices before the AGM.

Glensmad has previously posted something to the effect that the Premier Division would run with one or two extra clubs for a season if there were more clubs received from the Lowland League than promoted to it from the WOSL. If so then what happens the next season would have to be sorted out at the AGM before the season starts.

Quite a flexible arrangement, although there's a chance that things could go wrong if say clubs from the EOS (or SOS) won the promotion places for two or three seasons in a row.

Well, the AGM was yesterday - I wonder if anything was agreed. @glensmad ?

  9. There is a possibility that five clubs could be relegated from Premier Division (according to Wikipedia) and I'm just trying to get my head round it.

Highland League club beats Lowland League club in play-off, then beats Club 42 SPFL who ends up being relegated to Lowland League.

WoSFL Premier Division winner isn't Licenced or loses play-off to East/South winner.

Bottom two clubs in Lowland League are in WoSFL "region." (East Kilbride, Caledonian Braves, Cumbernauld Colts, Open Goal Broomhill)

    Is this correct?

What would have to happen for four clubs to be relegated from WoSFL Premier?

  10. The draw is being made tonight - but has the WoSFL after only one full season had an influence on it already?

I heard that gate money is to be shared after deducting match officials expenses next season. Something that already happens for all the West Cups and SJFA Cup. There are around 160~ish clubs take part with nearly half of them now coming from the WoSFL.

(I miss the bickering between the West and East clubs the SJFA Cup gave - maybe I'll start some new ones with this).

  11. Are all these 4th Division grounds up to standard to host cup matches against already established clubs?

Or put it another way - if no work is done on any of the new entrants grounds, would they be eligible for promotion in a years time? Or is there any kind of minimum standard for competing in Division 4?

Time will tell but i have my doubts
If what I’m hearing is true.
Allegedly countless teams are owed a lot of money for outstanding sponsorship and I’m not talking a few hundred quid, its enough to put teams at our level in serious shit and even the LL was mentioned on social media as being owed cash as well where he is the main sponsor

I wonder if any clubs have a positive view of him - that what has happened at their club contradicts what you've been hearing. It sounds like a Scottish version of Mike Ashley and supporters getting worried if he takes an interest in their club.

They were knocked out by Lochee United last season:

    https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/3654975/banks-odee-exit-scottish-junior-cup-lochee-united/

so it was left to Dyce to put in an unusually strong run for a North region club instead. Think it's safe to assume that only the new Banks o Dee JFC will be in this time around but that's technically a separate club rather than a reserve team in terms of how player registrations get handled apparently.

Could be confusing for Junior historians of the future there being no link between the two clubs of the same name.
