Sean Welsh has been out for a considerable amount of time now.

The injury as described was one that I thought might have allowed him to make it back for perhaps the final two play-off games (pfft) against St Mirren but for him to remain out is a worry.

That was the broken metatarsal - now there's chat about an achilles injury.

  2. The adult price of £24 is bad enough, but United's policy of charging all kids the full concession rate means a family of 4 paying £72.

My kids are under 12 so a standard Championship away day is about £40 for the 4 of us.

Not that we needed any further evidence that this established second tier club has a grossly inflated sense of itself.

Surprised to see people smoking in the ground, even before the game a couple were smoking below the stairs to the main stand with stewards behind them, a thing you never see nowadays.

Absolutely delighted with this. The whole set up was very relaxed. My wee girl spent the first half doing cartwheels on the grassy hill and the second climbing around advertising hoardings. Great to change ends at half-time and not feel the need to stay rooted next to a plastic seat while being gawped at by stewards.

That Dumbarton game was arguably our worst game since being relegated. I remember Chalmers shitting out of a 70/30 challenge in his favour.

It was the lowest I've ever felt after a game because it pointed towards successive relegations and potential oblivion.  Massive credit to Robbo for the way he's turned it around from there. I was screaming for his head afterwards.

Pretty sure Caley signed White on a two year deal. I don't rate him as a footballer in terms of skill, but he's a big wrecking machine when on form and a decent weapon in the Championship.

That's a very good description of the boy. It took him a while to get going, and a bit longer for the fans to get those qualities, but in the end I would be sorry to lose him.

We're apparently interested in Liam Polworth.

Does he play as a "10" or can he play further back?

We've been playing 4-2-3-1 just to get the best out of him. He plays in the middle of the 3 but comes deep to look for the ball. At his best when he's driving forward into space before releasing a well-timed through ball. He's assisted the majority of our goals over the past  18 months.

His range of passing is limited and his shooting is usually pretty poor.  All attempts to push him wide or deep in a different system have failed.
