  1. Super Sexy Scotland. Indulge in the Magnificence
  2. Burghead bound on Saturday. Looking forward to the journey and the game. Leave 7am. Back 10.30pm all going well, probably more like midnight. I'm hoping the Gow will have a good run.
  3. Lesmahagow 3 Glasgow United 2 Score flattered United. Gow 1-0 up at half time, opposition offered little and we should have added to our lead. United did up things a bit second half, after Gow went up 2-0. United got ot a goal back. Then we scored a screamer from 20 yards 3-1. Then the strangest penalty ever. Gow player put hand up to claim ball was out. United player blasted it said raised hand. Referee gave penalty, later admitted he didn't know if it was out or not. He was over officious and card happy throughout. The Gow should have put this game out if sight long before creeping over the line at 3-2.
  4. Special mention to Lesmahagow who managed another goalfest at Bellshill, which ended 5-5. Our rampant goalscoring ability since the start of the season has only been matched by our ability to let them in So far this season 7-6 win v Vale of Leven 1-1 v Dalry. Timid affair 5-4 loss v Kilsyth Ath. Missed pen. 6-1 win v Kello Rovers 5-5 v Bellshill Athletic I'm going for 9-8 win over Glasgow United., next Saturday
  5. That's good. I saw Liam in there line ups and I mind him being at Lanark but didn't know if he was heading over. They narrowly missed out on CAFL title last season, so a good squad.
  6. Bellshill Athletic 5 Lesmahagow 5 The Gow continue their rampant goalscoring exploits only to be matched by their ability to let them in. Crusing 3-1 at half time. Wind played a factor in the game. 4-4 with minutes to go. Gow got a penalty 5-4, Bellshill raced up the park 5-5. Ref blew full time. Normally getting a draw away from home wouldn't be a bad result but considering we were 5-4 up with seconds to go, feels like one that got away.
  7. I heard possibly as many as eight players. If he continues the success he's had at ammies you will do alright. Just keep that dubbing ready for tomorrow, just incase
  8. You will be getting drafted into squad at this rate for Muirkirk game tomorrow. Is new manager not in yet?
  9. Quality player Jack. Hold up play, bringing folk into game and goalscoring all top notch for this level. Best of luck to him.
  10. Lesmahagow 6 Kello Rovers 1 Four up after 28 minutes, then gave away a needless penalty. Second half, not as incisive but scored two near the end, one a penalty. Should have scored more in second half but for being a bit wasteful in front of goal. Considering we were a few regular bodies down, all in all a good result that boosts our goal difference. Scorers: McGuire (4), Paterson & Clarke.
  11. I have it from a reliable source. Darryl Meikle is your man. Unless there are last minute hitches that I'm not aware of.
  12. Heard the same, some of the squad heading over too.
  13. Great coverage as usual, hope to see you down at Craighead sometime soon. That was a sore one for Forth player, never good to see match abandoned due to injury.
  14. It does take time, when you are self reliant. I'm sure they will get there but should try and get a wee chuck wagon into car park but I suppose that's dependent on decent trade.
  15. He didn't do his job very well. Locals were fine. Although think there was more on bench than supporting them. No catering was a big disappointment
  16. Well there's game management and then there's ripping the arse out of it. I look forward to their visit to Craighead.
  17. Kilsyth Athletic 5 Lesmahagow 4 Need to stop giving cheap goals away. It was 5-1 to Kilsyth on 55 minutes. Gow missed a penalty and two gilt edge chances. Did well to get back into it. At 5-4, the monumental timewasting by the keeper and others, was poor. However, if our defending was far better in first half, chronic time wasting by opponents wouldn't be an issue. Must do better.
  18. There have been comments from the team to the contrary. I was at other end of the pitch, so I didn't see it but onlookers closer to it, backed up. When add, no 5s ludicrous shouts for offside, etc in the first half. The ref has got a job on his hands. At end of the day, we should've just scored another but we didn't. I am impressed with the improvement in Dalry from last season, they look a competent outfit

  20. Lesmahagow 1 Dalry Thistle 1 Gow scored in three minutes, looked comfortable first half. Dalry pushed on in second half but never looked like scoring until ball hit off defenders balancing arm at corner, penalty to Dalry, scored from that. Dalry keeper kept them in it, Gow should have got another two or three. Later video evidence shows the Gow having a goal ruled offside, when two Dalry players are playing every Gow attacker onside, and the ref was standing in line with it. Frustrating match.
  21. I agree. A freakish spell led to us being 3 down early on. Our attacking play was first class. Four goals in the last ten minutes. I do think us chasing the game from 3-0 from in first seven minutes, led to us being more open at the back, than we would have liked. Won't go down as a defensive masterclass but value for money at six quid. Vale are certainly an improved side from last year.
