I doubt very much Wullie ever thought he was bigger than the club - he was just pissed off at being dropped in favour of a clearly inferior player. These things happen in football.
If he came back I'm sure he would be welcomed back with open arms by the vast majority of the support. Possibly everyone except The Spider!

As far as I know FB is run by volunteers and the website by paid club staff. To be fair the FB site is usually pretty up to date and has now posted the SPFL info about our home games being at Airdrie.
Or the Penny Cars Stadium to be more exact. Who says romance is dead in Scottish football?

Longworth was always a confidence player. I think he would be worth a try to see if we could get that confidence back.
There is another ex-QP player that I hear we may be getting back from EK. Plus another ex-player from longer ago.

Finding out our home games will be at Airdrie from the SPFL website rather from our own club is poor. Not that it really matters how we found out but you expect a bit more regard for the fans than that.

Hopefully this is more reliable.

Jim Duffy was certainly successful in helping QP gain points. 33 of them in 11 games.
No thanks.

I'm sure technical director at St Mirren will suit him a lot better than his post here has been. Best of luck to the guy but I wont be shedding any tears and look forward to exciting times ahead.
Let's hope these "exciting times" don't involve Lowland League play-offs.
I was excited enough at TNS game last week.

Really sorry to see Gus go. Some of my favourite moments as a QP fan came under his watch and I was always confident in not dropping to Lowland League whilst he was in charge.
Couldn't believe some of the criticism he got from QP fans. Hopefully we won't miss him too much but I do worry.

Not that much different from Oswestry on Sat.

Sligo would be even better.
But it will be Airdrie away.

Last time Clyde were at Hampden.
Did not go : saved £10
Did not buy a snack: :saved £12
Did not hire telescope :saved £10
Put the admission money on Clyde winning :won £35
Win, win, win, win for ol' Larry
You forgot to mention the money you put on Clyde winning the play off final. Or did you see sense and put that money on QP?0 -
Gus and Gerry Crawley spoke at QPSA AGM last night. Gus still at stage of trimming the amount of players he has in for training down to a manageable, competitive squad.
Gus also talked of the harm social media can do ( presumably meaning this site in particular) when it comes to (1) alerting other clubs of players that we may be interested in and (2) affecting the confidence of players when they are slagged off.
Maybe that is something all QP fans should consider before posting on this site.3 -
Presumably 2 of the 5 that have signed that can't be named yet.
Queen’s Park’s boss Gus MacPherson has raided Kilbirnie for defender Dom McLaren and striker Kurtis Roberts.
McLaren and Roberts were scouted by the Spiders and have now signed contracts at Hampden Park for next season.
MacPherson, who has also persuaded longserving defender Scott Gibson to remain, said: “Both Dom and Kurtis have the chance to make it at a senior level. “I am looking forward to seeing them in action.”

Any proof of my 'racism'?
You should report me if you have any snowflake.
I'll wait here patiently for the nee-naws.
Given that a couple of posts you put on last night have been removed I think the nee-naws have already been - the P&B ones anyway.
Personally I would have left them on to show the world what a delightful person you are.

Our defence is what let us down last year and they have all stayed bar Burns. Will be good enough for League 2 if Gus can get a good balance and a reliable goalkeeper.
And bar Adam Cummins our player of the year.
I've no doubt Gus will have signed or is looking at players in all positions. Dom McLaren from Kilbirnie is a centre - half I believe.
As for who plays midfield/ up front we already know that Gus has signed Peters, Osalodor, McKernon and Martin. More will come. Trying to predict a starting 11 until you have seen these players is impossible.

I wasn’t too bothered about getting signing news quickly but if it stops this dreadful patter please hurry up Gus.

Was at Elgin yesterday watching QP. Hard to believe it eas only two seasons ago we saw him at Elgin tearing them apart. I knew he was different class but can't believe how quickly he has become a Scotland regular. Onwards and upwards Andy!

Don't think many were upset.
In fact the band Mint Juleps were obviously taking the piss out of serial complainers.
Can hardly wait till 9 Sep.

Well I’m sure Wullie would do all that just to keep you happy Spider.[emoji42]
For the rest of us - if he came back - we would just be delighted to see a great QP player back where he belongs. Not to mention a much needed addition to the squad.
I really hope it does happen but I’m sure I know as much as you Spider.
