Garry Woods- has played in League 1 and Championship. Looks like back up, but no more than that.

He is very quick. Long stride can catch you out

Woods was a very good player for us. Really clever midfielder. Possibly the fastest and fittest player last year. The odd error doesn't make him a bad player. Easily better than Rocco imo. I am delighted he is back

We keep Boyd and lose Quinn. Wish it was the other way round, but Quinn is aware he could probably get more buck elsewhere. In my opinion we need 2 solid centre backs, Boyd will be fine as a back up but no more.

Woods has been immense for me over the last 2 months, very fit and deceptively fast also. He is obviously a real favourite for J Mac too.

Plenty good players at the 34-36 mark. If he is fit he would be a tremendous signing.

I actually like Woods, Ross is miles off This league. Not sure he is even Championship level.

I think it is more genuine fans to be honest. Some seem like they have only followed us in the last 3 years. Just need to take it with a pinch of salt.

We have to many average forwards, I would like to see Ross put out on loan. We are not blessed with many fit defenders though.

I would say 8 times out of 10 we will finish 11th or 12th. The bookies have St Mirren as slight favourites for bottom. Like said before we have a massive month coming up. Both in terms of games and who we can get in. Our horror start is very hard to come back from. Between now and the end of the season I would expect us to have around the 8th best haul of points, but that may not be enough to escape the bottom 2.

Hopefully we can get some of the short term contracts extended until the summer at least. We have some decent players that need signed up in my opinion or lose them in the next 3 or 4 weeks. In January out of contract are Gardyne P Quinn Woods Reckord Toshney I think the top 4 on that list are very important to be signed up again. I really like Woods, and feel he is very underrated by many as he is one of those players who goes about his business in a tidy if unspectacular way. Similar to Tidser last year. Hopefully we will get a bit of loyalty for offering them a route back into 1st team football. Out with that hopefully JM has identified a right back and a centre back as a minimum to come in when the window opens. He has said he has a budget hasn't he?

Adams is an arse, but you also need to remember these guys were just not performing either. MDL being the exception at times. Hopefully we can move on from this now. We have heard enough

I know that, it just sealed it/ confirmed it. Having them celebrate on our patch when we were at our lowest ebb was hard to take.

Was fairly clear over the last 48 hours he has gone. He cited personal seasons. He wants to go Home to Netherlands. No chance he would sign for any other team in Scotland. We did turn down a healthy offer in the summer fromSt Johnstone for him. He has been a shadow of last season I'm his brief appearances this year. Won't see his girlfriend again either!

He looks decent on the you tube clips. Real midfield grafter who likes a tackle. Was Canadian captain for a bit too, so sounds promising. Hopefully he will link well with Irvine and Kiss in the middle.
