Last year after sixteen league games we had twelve points. This year we have two points more. Our goal difference is one worse.
Yes, we need to strengthen, but let's keep things in perspective.

Brilliant 2nd half. Thought we looked a lot better 2nd half with Thomson upfront. All too often first half we would be passing the ball about in our own half then as soon as dunfermline properly pressed us the ball would just get lumped up to Ohara who was never going to get anything from the dunfermline centre halfs. Thomson definetly helped us get up the pitch and once we were there our passing and movement in the dunfermline half caused them a few problems.
Fair play to Jon Robertson as well btw. Outstanding in the middle. Got to be in there every week for me absolutely wasted playing full back4 -
It's the same people shouting on Saturday for Grants head that seem to shout for the head of every manager we've had for as long as I can remember! Utterly bizarre behaviour.I didn’t think we were particularly great yesterday and at times we looked like we were out of ideas. It’s quite clear that the diamond just isnt working for us at the minute and we are much more comfortable with the 4-2-3-1. We could really do with Dick and Cawley back as well ASAP, especially cawley as his energy is something we really miss.
The bigger picture is that despite the fact we haven’t really been great this season, we still have more points and wins than we did at this point last season, with a lot less luck with injuries and suspensions, and there is still a long way to go. A couple of signings and a couple of players back from injury and were in decent shape. People calling for Grant’s head is just bizzare.
Bobby Linn was excellent yesterday as well, the main difference between the teams.2 -
Better off just parking in Morrisons.Can any of the lovely Alloa fans advise if there is normally ample parking in the streets nearby or better off to park in Morrisons ?

Hard to watch today but some of the shouting at the players and manager were a bit OTT I think.
Thought we were starting to work our way into the game with Thomson coming on causing a few problems but the sending off killed it in the end0 -

We are absolute shocking at home and have been for quite some time. The games in general are shocking, still can't believe we never made the pitch bigger halfway through - hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

Iain Flannigan would surely get a game for most teams in this division - especially in the form he's in this season. An Alloa great and another superb performance.

Another solid performance yesterday. We'll be doing well to keep Goodwin all season if this keeps up.
After not being sure about him to start with Liam Dick was outstanding again yesterday I thought. Been really fortunate with left backs over the past few years. He's also very capable at centre half as well2 -

Had it on a tablet for first half but changed to laptop for 2nd half and not an issue so far! Happy days.
