Best performance from an Alloa player this season for me was Duffy in our win at Almondvale. He was brilliant that day!

Danny Lennon is still a good manager. Things obviously quite haven't worked out this year but what he achieved at St Mirren and Cowdenbeath can't be denied.

I think Smith done reasonably okay.
It's all very good saying he inherited a good squad for his 2nd season and should've done better with that group of players but it was probably still behind any of the full time teams in terms of quality IMO. Also missing Scott Bain. Wonder how many points he saved us in that first season?

If I had a pound every time DL mentions playing Part-time players in a full-time league.
It is a pretty huge disadvantage to be fair which is reflected in ours and Dumbartons recent form.
Absolute nothing between the teams on Saturday apart from an utterly incompetent goalkeeper. Both teams are no where near good enough to be able to compete at this level.

Unbelievable how much big mikk has come on. First game of the season in Dumfries he had an absolute shocker and was hooked at HT. Jason Marr couldn't get in the team and now it looks like it'll be a shoot out between the two of them for player of the year!

Boy who played centre forward, Declan McDonald is only 14. Some shift he put in. 2 0 full time.

Took in about 60/70 minutes of tonight's development game. We were 2-0 up when I left and looked fairly comfortable. Hetherington and Hill started and done reasonably okay. Hoggan who made his league debut on Saturday played left back and played well. Got an absolute beauty of an assist for Hardies goal who for me was probably Alloas best player.

There was highlights of their game last week either on this thread or on the duffle can't really remember.
From they highlights it looked like he had a good game last week as well and got an assist.
For me though and has already been stated I think that just highlights the gulf between the two leagues rather than how he's being deployed. Would definitely offer a contract though if we were to go down. Boy obviously has something about him and is only young.

Carreiro was being linked earlier tbf. If McHattie is solely a LB, then Wasps1 is pulling his usual as we're more than well covered there with Holt, Irvine and Calder all able to play there.

Was decent enough for us in his previous short spell albeit at a far lower standard.
Jack must rate him from their time together at Dumbarton as well.
