Can't believe I just forked out £20 for this.

Freeman starting in midfield is an interesting one though!
Not keen on this. Would have preferred to see Butcher and Harkes sitting with Mochrie or Meekison given a chance.

Levitt is clearly the best midfielder we have. Even another year on loan would be a major bonus.

We'll end up postponing our fixture against Ukraine until the summer.
Whenever it's played, it's just Scotlands luck to be facing a mediocre Ukraine team that will not doubt be absolutely hyped with national pride and go on to smash us.

Delighted with the point which we probably didn’t deserve based on the performance. Liam Smith has come on to a game and Niskanen continually looking dangerous. I wonder how long Levitt will be out this time.
Courts needs to have a word with Watt.
I don't think Watt and McNulty work. Watt looked like he wasn't interested in linking up in the second half and threw a huff, trying to do it all on his own.

Pish from us in the second half. Levitt going off was a big blow and the defence struggled with the sun in their eyes.
Take that as a point gained.

With all the disinformation flying about, really hope the reports of this pilot "Ghost of Kyiv" downing a number of Russian aircraft is true.
Also, reports that the Klitschkos are preparing to take up arms.

Ukraine can't join NATO though so long as it claims territory that it has no practical sovereign control over - that is to say, a monopoly of force. There is absolutely no chance of Germany for example signing up to revive the ghosts of 1941-45 on that basis.
A frozen conflict is enough to effectively bar Ukraine from membership.

I agree, I simply meant concerns in abstract. There wasn't any realistic possibility of Ukraine joining Nato but the West didn't want to capitulate to Russian demands over who could and couldn't join.
Which makes Putins actions even less justifiable given the concern was not realistically going to come to pass.

Some quite strange dismissals of NATO expansion and Anglo-American military adventurism here like they're not a factor.
Whilst you can just about understand Russian concerns about Ukraine joining Nato, doing the thing that makes Ukraine want to join Nato isn't really the right way to go about resolving said concerns.

More and more looking like Putin has lost the plot.

I wouldn't say a TRT prescription is the equivalent of anabolic steroid abuse. It just pumps the test levels back up to where they would have been aged 18-21, a world away from the stacks pro bodybuilders and some athletes are on.
Vlads just a jacked white boy who honed his muscles doing judo with bears in a Russian forest.

Although the more conspiratorial among us would believe this was the outcome the US wanted, hence attempts to bait Russia into a conflict, it is a bit surprising Germany has taken such strong action when, essentially, Russia probably hasn't yet overstepped the mark in terms of resolving this diplomatically.
Very unclear if Putin is playing 4D chess or if yesterday's press conference was a Kevin Keegan-esque heads gone and he has completely miscalculated the situation.

I thought Graham's handball wasn't a penalty as it hit his chest first.
6 games before the split, 5 of which are against the teams immediately around us. Reckon 2 wins out of those games would probably be enough to get top 6. 40-42 points should do it.

So was putin playing 4d chess whilst we were stuck with checkers? Or was it a classic case of him doing a spot of pavement dancing giving it the whole "hold me back" routine?
Most importantly, are the Ukranian national team going to avoid conscription before the end of March?

Hows that not a penalty?

Excuses in early then? Pitch had nothing to do with how the game played out. Thistle were superior today. One strike won it for United who were totalky outplayed.

Dreadful from us but will take the result all day long. We just couldn't handle the conditions but Thistle moved the ball about fine so not much of an excuse.
Another clean sheet the only positive.

Lucky to be in front as we havent got to grips with the pitch at all. Struggling to move the ball about.

f**k me the state of that pitch.

I cant remember the last time we had a penalty at Ibrox or Parkhead. Im convinced Paddy Connolly scored one in the early 90s but that might be a complete fabrication.
Given how often we venture into the opposition box at Parkhead, its not an entirely surprising statistic.

Graham isn't Baresi (or Mulgrew) with the ball at his feet but he seems to do the basics of defending well enough.
Hasn't shown the flashiness of Neilson but, in his 3 and a bit games, hasn't yet been completely caught out like Neilson has at times.
Certainly enough shown by both of them to be optimistic that we have home grown replacements for Edwards and Mulgrew in time.

Tactical masterstroke from Courts. Shite losing Watt though, hopefully he and Levitt aren't missing for long.
