  1. I'd like to see that Patrick chap try and say "bacon" without sounding like he's saying "beer can".
  2. Manic Street Preachers - Jackie Collins Existential Question Time
  3. ARE GONNA f**k YOU UP!!! Manics for me on Wednesday.
  4. Playing at night it's about £35 or £36 quid, if I remember correctly. You won't be paying more than £3 a man. Nearly forgot, if folk have a Glasgow gym card/leisure card, whatever, it will be cheaper.
  5. Great choice. Love the Mani's bassline in that. I wish there were bass tabs for it. "heavens gates won't hold me...I'll saw those suckers down" anyway Fun Lovin' Criminals - Run Daddy Run
  6. Manic Street Preachers It would have been Gorillaz but they cancelled their Glasgow date.
  7. I went over my ankle really badly tonight playing football. My ankle is swollen to f**k, although since I got back the swelling has gone down. Nothing is broke. will I be able to walk in an ok sort of manner for Saturday?
  8. The Rock, last week on the TV. My mate insisted we watch this, we had a carry out and it was hilarious at times. First time I've enjoyed watching a film in ages. Sean Connery is fantastic. Cage:"you enjoying this?" Connery: "Well, it's certainly more enjoyable than my average day... reading philosophy, avoiding gang rape in the washrooms... though, it's less of a problem these days. Maybe I'm losing my sex appeal." Based on how much I laughed - 8/10
  9. When you make good runs into space and you just don't get the ball. Greedy players when playing football, hate them.
  10. Simple Minds - Waterfront (unplugged) Just Mick MacNeil (accordian) and Charlie Burchill (acoustic guitar). Sounds fantastic
  11. Was keen to study History after school, but didn't get the required grades for it. History of Scotland sounds good, done a good deal of that in school (1830-1914 era), but obviously not in as much depth as it would be in university. I assume Aristocracy to Democracy? Britain 1830-1918 focusses on the voting reforms, suffrage movement etc?
